I doubt Barnaby French has played most games for Pembroke, as the vast majority of his Saturdays this year have been taken up with his Sturt assistant coaching role. The bloke cant be in 2 places at once!

Any idea where the A and B grade finals are been played and who are in them. Should be a massive finals series for both.

PHOSC vs Towns at Thebarton not certain where SHOCs will choose to play the main school if they get the chance otherwise the middle school. Would expect they will keep the SHOCs teams together so Modbury and Athelstone would be at Thebby.

Annual SHC vs Assumption game is at the SHC Main Oval this weekend so SHOC wont be playing there. Brighton is too boggy, so i think it will be at a neutral venue.
Yep SMOSH vs SHOC in the B's will be played before the Uni v SHOC Elimination Final.

That would make alot more sense. It would also give Modbury's A grade a chance to see who they will be playing the week after while still being able to support there B grade.

The SAAFL umpires train there now too don't they? You'd like to think the league would have it at top shape if it's supposedly having the 'showcase' game of the weekend.

Will be good to see some more Broadview v Uni clashes next year. I remember seeing some terrible behaviour at the centenary match(poofter networking event) in 2006 from the Uni heros on the hill. Screaming out some rather inappropriate comments in between reminiscing about how many H grade games they played. Then they all patted eachother on the back for being sportsmanlike when they clapped Broadview for agreeing schedule the match on that weekend. How funny it is that Uni got relegated first.

Let's start the Uni Blacks thesaurus:

transient
unruly
greedy
self-absorbed

On a completely unrelated note, the div 2 competition is of a very high quality and must be approaching div 1 standard. Remember when Roachey claimed that this years Uni team would play finals in div 1? Ha, the only reason they are playing div 2 finals is because Athelstone choked. Time to pull out the chequebook again boys like in 2006!

Was at that game, they were giving us a lot of greif about being in relegation zone that year, they did pump us by plenty, but we held on and look who got relegated last year!!! It will be good to watch those games again, all the Mercedes and BMW's will look good around the Broadies oval.

Don't know if you will see that many cars mate. Saw their game at SHOC earlier this year and they didn't have many supporters. Like I said, they should be called the Uni transients, they come and then go, never to be seen again save at networking events.

Your club may not be in Div 3 too much longer but don't count your chickens for you being in Div 2. I hear Occa doesn't rate you as a player with Div2 abilities and the mere fact your playing A grade at the moment is indicative of their current standing in the football club ratings.

No seriously, apparently you're not tall enough to play key position and not quick enough or have enough tricks in your bag to play on the flanks or mid-field.
