Boozehound played the best I've seen him play. No hamstring probs at all.

EP were very good.

I did my back and came off half way through the second quarter. The boys gave their best effort and we'll have another crack next year.

Yeah I did notice the Donnelly on the crows rookie list....

Cheers Shrek. Very close game, against a side that had the wood on us so very proud of the boys. Also very appreciative of the Kilburn players comments and best wishes for the GF. Hope they get out and support us!!

Could have been a big day at Broad Spectrum had EP B's done the job. the score suggests they didnt have a good day. Flinders Park on the other hand have 3 teams, 2 GF's against Walkerville. Could there be a triple header to have all 3 FP teams play at the same oval

So what does the future hold for Kilburn? 100 grand or so allegedly spent on players this year down the drain. Will the likes of Wilson & Broadhurst hang around or are Kilburn headed for the scrapheap and a position in Div 4 in 2010? Not much depth at the club with their B's finishing last by a long, long way. What are peoples thoughts?

Has the magic that Ocker is supposed to possess now gone along with all that $$$$$? The powers at Kilburn should have learnt a long time ago that "one swallow doesn't make a summer (or winter for that matter)".
I think they have a bit more time to spend in Div 3 than they realise.

Didn't take too long for the Kilburn bashing to start!

In the end we missed out on a GF by a couple of goals, we'll have another crack next year. Hopefully most boys stay for next year but teams never stay exactly the same from year to year.

From what I paid attention to (which admittedly wasn't all that much), was a good game of footy. Did Ashsby get excited when he kicked a goal in the last quarter or what? Ran from the goals at the factory end all the way down the other end of the ground to the supporters in front of the scoreboard pumping his fist. Screw that, I would've been rooted.

Congrats to Eastern Park, should be a good game next week.

Shrek, was there much sorrow drowning today? Chrissy Cal came through my work at about 7 tonight and didn't seem intoxicated whatsoever.

I think everyone went pretty hard last night. We're going to do it on another day I think because everyone had Father's Day stuff on. I can't move at the moment so couldn't get to the club anyway.

I cant see them staying in div 3 after next year if they dont lose a large majority of their players. The facilities are second to none, particlularly when the lap pool goes in.....

Once some more off field stuff is sorted and they get some depth they will be successful again. It seems like we are seeing a bit of a changing of the gaurd as far as power clubs go. Has been the Uni's, Broadies, Kilburns for such a long time in Div 1 and with the exception of Goodwood that has all changed and Gepps, salisbury north, Gaza seem to be the powerhouses. I think TTG will continue to be around the mark particularly with the developments that will be happening at the club in the off season.

All very interesting.

I trust I will see Pag and Shrek and the game on saturday supporting me.......

Well done EP very good win over Kilburn. Only thing that ruined the day was an EP player spitting at a young Kilburn player. Crash tackled him and then spat at him. 12 min into third term in front of grand stand. Not a good thing Boozehound.
