I dont play anymore mate. But have mates at a couple of clubs.

I've heard Westies have lost Chad McInnes but gained Shane Nobes.

My other mates play at AHOS in Adelaide Turf Premier League. From what I've heard they are looking pretty good. And have picked up a couple of quality players. Wouldn't be surprised if they try and get Johnny out with them now that Chad's gone.

Plugger having a hit with you this year ?

Plenty of new guys at the club but not sure if any are A graders, its hard to attract the top players when we dont throw out cash. How about you guys?

do many clubs pay players in this comp? is it all performance based? are there any ideas as to what the better players are on?

I'm not too sure on other clubs but just assuming that a couple must pay their players..

Brahma Lodge is all performance based awards.

Performance based at sandy Creek . Although people think certain players are getting paid there but that is not the case

As far as I am aware Salisbury West don't pay players as such. $40 or $20 and a card for a few free drinks get distributed as the captain sees fit each game. Most grades pay ball fees though, and perhaps all grades (haven't played A or B grade so don't know for sure) so few players will make money any single game let alone across a season. Have heard stories about $20 a wicket and a dollar a run sort of things on the odd occasion.
