Big night back at the Lofty club rooms last night after all 4 teams won, followed by an entertaining night on the town.

Go you redcaps!

Now to make sure it doesnt take so long to make it happen again....

aldgate nearly got rolled by scibs. they were 9 for 125 chasing 154 and fielke and Piggy got them over the line.
ended up making 180 odd.

Sounds a bit like your standard weekends 2words. You know those gaters. if i can quote steve mcgregor when quizzed on why there were no aldgate boys in the association side to KI a few years back his reply was "well those boys play hard and party even harder"

He may not be taking wickets but he is scoring runs and winning matches for them. Word has it he is giving the ball up to concentrate on batting after his stellar performance on the weekend.

That's a fairly harsh call Dutchy.

Seany bowled probably one of the best spells I have ever seen him bowl against scibs. You might remember him from the days at Mt. Lofty and when he was young and just tried to bowl fast, but Him and Hensch are trying to bowl as a partnership and if that means one just tries to keep it tight while the other attacks that's fine, as long they are getting the job done.

Aldgate seem to have lost there way a bit since the big man behind the stumps has given the game away. Can't see them being a big threat this season.

I can guarantee the Meads lads are not over confident about this year... They were brought to ground pretty hard last year and are still hurting and planning to learn from their mistakes. Yes we maybe the hunted but we are by no means think we have won the flag. Fair to say BallHog is stirring the pot as his club is a bit closer to the freeway.
