OJ. We at Mclaren believe he will give us a lift as a player and as a leader on the field. he will be the second eldest in our young team and is just the sort of bloke we need to help guide the youngsters. Looks as if we will be signing on another player tonight who will give us some pace and skill who has had some league experience. A couple more pieces of the jigsaw to put together to help us move up the ladder in 2009

Ridiculous comment 'best player by a mile'!!! Russell is a good bloke in the dealings ive had with him and from reports a very good player but temper the excitement a tad.

Lots of weird stuff happening on here lately. Without trying to judge, as I'm sure there are new members on here that are 'genuine'... but by someone coming straight on and going 'over the top' sort makes you think that it's someone like MMLM reincarnated and trying the opposite approach

Its not a personal attack on me just an ill-informed person that doesnt know his stuff.
Top players in all leagues would be of a similar standard but the depth drops away more in certain leagues than others!
This being a 'best player in the SFL' topic id say lets get it back on track!

i am sorry if i have caused harm to russel and the club he is with. we just joined sight and wanted to now where he is playing. dave and i liked him a lot when at broadies and a good guy. the girls all liked him because he was so sweet to us all - bit of a player the lad. no harm intended. not causing harm to anyone. first time on and thought was asking good question about a terrific guy and wonderful player thats all. we only found out from our CHB Stevo, that he was even playing down in the south league. with his ability here at broadies thought he would have won a medal in that type of standard thats all
