I have never implied otherwise. But my point earlier about the value of locals is still valid. If they were crap, so would be the team. Because they were developed into good footballers, the strength of the club was sufficient to win flags. Evidenced by Krieg and Coulter at North. They couldn't maintain regular spots in our league side through our most successful period yet they would have (and did) get regular league games elsewhere. They were squeezed out by the strength of other locals, not imports. 7-9 is not a huge number of imports, if they are the same ones for 5+ years at a time.
