you have 5 teams cause you have alot of players  that has nothing to do with coin...
i know of 3 people who were offered money to play there and i am not talking little money..
so maybe there is someone doing deals on the sidelines?
we pay players incentives and it got us a premiership which is why we pay them.. as for that bloke B.Machine all he got you was a heap of yellow balls....

yea but straight back over the bar

if a player is getting cash and putting it straight over the bar it is still getting paid..
when i had a interview with robbo i was told of the incentives at sandy and think they have got it right.. the only talk of good money was to pay a coach..so i can vouch that bill and bomber didnt leave us for money.. i know bomber left cause his boss was high up at sandy and was promised good jobs.. and for bill he left for a reason

There is no way that any player is worth $2000 at this level. I was told before going to Sandy that they pay players but we have the same sort of incentive scheme as any other club, you need it to entice players to join your club. Rumours fly that all clubs buy players but 90% of the time its untrue, (note 90% Oz, before you fire up at me)

only 2000 why would you take a pay cut big fella

must be affraid of the sledging he will get. but to email it to frank carter is very ordinary

and frank couldnt wait to pass it on to the wells... i remember reading it on the thurs night and couldnt believe it was emailed to frank and not us..
that is weak.. and then to find out in the last couple of days that people were offered money makes it very interesting..

Really Browny ?

I thought I would have built up enough credibility in my time in this comp to not be called a liar.

Thats your prerogative though.

Credibility!!!!! Making a comment that you cant back up to players from the Lodge. Come on Wiz

why would he want to? everyone who knows oz knows he is straight down the line and wouldnt talk shit about it..

Grahaml wrote:Why would Oz disclose who the player was? Do you even half think that if he gave you any sort of clue that you would figure it out before I did? 1/100 Oz knows who I am and also knows I'd be the only one to get even the most discreet clues given my association to the club. And if told something in confidence why would he betray a guy who he might end up wanting to play alongside as old men in 20 years time? You don't burn bridges in this town, and just because he won't tell you something don't think it means there's no truth in it. Money gets thrown around to players from all sorts of angles (I bet the Wiz himself could tell stories of clubs throwing money his way you'd have never thought possible) and EVERY club uses whatever angle they have to get players to improve themselves.

Spot on Graham... I dont need to justify anything.

And 84... Why so defensive ? I never judged your club in regards to the player payments. Why would I care ? Just letting you know that it well and truly happened as it was brought up here.

Believe me, not everyone knows everything that goes on in a sports club in regard to that kind of thing. You may think you do, you may be on the committee....it means jack !
