How close is the ladder, win a game and jump to 4th from bottom and the possibility of going to 2nd if all goes well this week weird, although good too see that there isnt the lop sided ladders of recent years.

Our C's (Grade 5) had a terrible day of it on saturday, after having a strong team at 12 noon, 3 late changes took our bowling line up apart. We got skittled cheaply, beaten easily and then one of our players suffered a stroke as we were coming off of the oval, he's still in intensive care at the RAH. Our thoughts are with him and his family hoping he can make a full recovery. He is a good club-person who is always the first one to put his hand up to help, pretty devastating at 34.

The middle club could make it difficult for you, they have every right to demand registration fees, depends on who it is, there are ways and means around any clearance situation.

Yeah, I played that game. I didn't hear until much, much later in the night because I had to leave the club early so wasn't there for the call Col Rundle made to us. Bit strange to think that shortly after shaking the guys hand at the end of the game he was in serious trouble. Hope he's going to be ok.
