Well, if your memory is outstanding, I was one of the half back flankers. I have a hazy recollection of Ingle Farm although my best memories of the Pizza Hut Cup were playing against Sacred Heart College, where our coach Chris Brown (who used to write on junior football for, probably, the Football Times), revved us up on how they were a bunch of effete upper class dandies who were making fun of our working class roots. The Sacred Heart coach later claimed it was the roughest game he had ever seen.

my memory is not that good. i knew big dave. i played in the centre and do remember it as one of our schools best wins.

Chris Brown also played C Grade district cricket for Woodville in the early 80's. A wicketkeeper of modest standing and a good bloke.

Woodville High School - that I know of :

Bruce Abernethy for a short period of time;
Greg Anderson in 1982 or '83 because St Micks wanted him to play for them instead of Port;
Tim Ginever.
Paul Northeast - I know "Northa" also went to Pennington Primary.
Steve Hutton for a short time (Year 12).
Mark Dittmar for a short time. (Year 11)

Tom Hank was a teacher there.

And bugger me dead, the mighty B.McAvaney went to Woodville High too! :lol: I'm sure there's more.

Roc Harry (WWT/Port) went to CBC was a year ahead of me. Also the Glenelg under 19 player Chris Buss that passed away in a car crash on tappleys hill rd in 2003 was in my year at CBC. 2 other players I know off that went to CBC are Peter Schwarz (WWT) and the one and only Jack Cahill.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Also the Glenelg under 19 player Chris Buss that passed away in a car crash on tappleys hill rd in 2003 was in my year at CBC. 2 other players I know off that went to CBC are Peter Schwarz (WWT) and the one and only Jack Cahill.

We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Andamooka & Roxby Downs Area Schools can lay claim to..
Troy Clements (Norwood) - after Kimba and b4 Immanuel, I think.
Luke Darcy (South/WB) - b4 Rostrevor

and Tim McLeod (Woodville Ruckman) who was Dept Principle and Innaugural Coach of Roxby Districts into the Woomera Football League.
Good Luck Ovies!
