Jimmy Recard for a Great Southern bloke you sure have an interest in the Hills - Is there a move imminent ? Echunga closest to you guys , maybe looking to send down your own leggies , so trying to assassinate the reputation of Nick " stuey MacGill " Lyons.
Any team would want a bloke who can run the hundred in under 1o secs patrolling the boundary - Ever thought of trying out for the Wallabies - Bit of a resemblance to MATT DUNNING " ????

Whisper going around Torrens Valley Cricket Association of Palmer C.C. defecting to the Mid Murray Cricket Association. Could leave a bit of a hole in an already 6 team 'A' grade comp in the TVCA.

maybe TVCA, HILLS & AEHCA should have a joint A grade comp with the top 3 teams from each forming a Super League?? Would make for a much higher standard and mor even competition?

Great idea if it were to happen but i think to much of a headache to put into place. Too many issues to look out i reckon. But anyway we can keep cricket right up there for people to play and be interested in in the future needs to be looked at though.

that certainly would be a super association. You could have an A1, A2, B1, B2... type set up because there would be shit loads of teams. With a relegation rule. Would make for a fierce competition!

maybe just do it for the A grade teams.. and not merge all associations... but the A grade comp could be called something like Courier League like the netball??

yeh its a fair point you make, but then there might be a few issues with it might start 2 divide clubs a bit if there playing in diff leagues, and how would the juniors be set up?? also say b graders playing up?? would they need a transfer to a diff league?? bit picky i know.

It would be great to have such a comp in place, i also agree that it should be set up like netball so that minor grades remain within their respective associations. However past cooperation between the associations suggests that it would be unlikely to get off the ground. In years past when their havent been enough ovals to play on it has been put forward by clubs that the associations should work together so that if there is a spare oval not being used (eg. every second game) then it becomes available for a club from another assoc. However the assoc's couldnt come to synchronise start dates and therefore it became near impossible.

Dunno if the HCA would be that keen, a very successful and strong comp thru 4 grades at the moment, why change?

Also every club currently in A grade has won a flag in the past 20 years (IIRC), while there has been some teams that have dominated for periods everyone has had their turn up the top...
