Living End HQ -Last Night.

If Chris Cheney is not thought by many to be one of Australias top guitarists I'd be surprised.He does it all,strong riffs,lead breaks,rythym and sings up a strom while doing so.Always a great show and did not dissapoint last night.On a side note Children Collide were the support act and another 3 piece band who really impressed me.Young blokes who went hard*.

At one bar Extra Dry on tap $4.50,at another bar same size cup but out of a stubbie ( no less,no more beer ) $6.50 ! The young chick behind the bar had the cheek to tell me " But,like yeah,the ones out the tap are pints " ,yet they are cheaper?

Been a fan of TLE since their debut, but this was actually the first time I'd seen them live..very impressed

Did anyone miss the GF and go to Parklife? Mr MK and I were going until we got invited to a GF party. Would like to know what it was like.

i did the double, watch first 3 qtrs of the footy then went to parklife. was an amazing afternoon & night, only acts i remember seeing were Soulwax & Dizzee. saw Dizzee at the BDO this year in the boiler room as well, always puts on a good show. the weather was perfect so the ladies were dressed down . lots of pill poppers & drunks but great atmosphere all round, well worth going.

The wife (or as I call her the Fun Police) dragged me along to Vanessa Amorossi at the Gov saturday night, I didn't think she played particularly angry feminine angst music but there sure was a very large female percentage of the crowd with short haircuts and sensible shoes

She even said afterwards that she's not that way inclined but she'd go Vanessa!!

Was a good show but $11.50 for a spirit can in a pub was a bit much.
