Wouldn't have missed for the world!!!

Got there a bit late, but managed to catch the last half of Stolen Youth, who always put on an impressive show. Disappointed with Fowler's for not having any Pale Ale's on tap and had to settle for cans of lager, but my lament was soon forgotten as the Propagandhi took to the stage. Modest, yet unrelenting, they tore their way through songs from every album (and tore me a new arsehole too) and showcased a couple of songs from their upcoming album. Wished they could have played more, but I guess they somewhat value their vocal cords and the skin on the fingertips

Highlights were 'A Speculative Fiction' ('cause it's one of my favourite songs ever), the crowd sing-along to 'Haile Sellasse', and the two lucky bastards that got to get up on stage and sing 'F*ck The Border'.

Lowlight was the chapstick who thought it was funny to keep yelling out 'I kill animals' and 'I bash faggots', but then Propagandhi decided to play 'Homophobes are just pissed cuz they can't get laid' and he seemed to shut up after that

Just hanging out for the new album to arrive in the post now!!

I was reading today that Fowlers is closing down at the end of the month. The lease is up or something like that. I can't say I have been that fond of the venue over the years but its better than nothing.
