Didn't mention the word soft I think the culture is wrong and culture of a club isn't something that will change overnight. Once again it comes back to the powers that be having the balls to stand by their decision and not try something new at the first sign of trouble.

Took Pottsy 4 years to take us from bottom of the ladder to a flag but I doubt anyone wanted to get rid of him at any time during that rebuilding.

yeah, but dutchy and others were hinting along those lines. I actually agree with you guys, the club has to stick with their decision this time and give it time!

I have to challenge that lionheart . . . Aldinga only had passing conversation with T RIGNEY and were never really in the hunt. And the money was no where near what he was getting offered elsewhere. In fact if Trev is getting the same money at Jervois as he was 2 years ago, the money he was offered at Aldinga was only 1/3 of that.

[quote="shoe boy"]Any clubs not filled all their juniour trial games as Noarlunga under 16 side is looking for a trial.

21 March would be a good spot but we would look at all options.

So shoe boy
Just found out why your boys are not playing Reynella now on the 21st March due to the rivairy between the both U 14's coaches> Ando dosen't want to play ????????? so they scraped it.

Funny stuff eagleman if that statement is correct you offered Tyler Green and Jeremy Rigney more than Trevor? Tyler and Jeremy are both good players but you and i both know Trevs market value is a bit higher than that.

Think he means we never thought we'd get Trevor but had a chat anyway, Brad has a budget to stick too, Jeremy looked good at training and was always giving 100% from what I saw at the trainings he had with us, guys that train hard are valuable to any side IMO, rubs off on others, such as Shrivey, Ben Martin etc.

Totally agree backliner nothing worse than paying a recruit that isnt interested in training.

Correct Lion, Trev was only ever made 1 offer and it was a low one based on the sweetner he could play with Jez . Its very long and complicated, far to much to explain on here, but your statement that Trev was offered heaps of money by Aldinga is totally incorrect. I am not guessing this or making it up. I was involved with the entire process.

Interesting to see C.Ottoway has left Jamestown and signed with Ironbank. Why did he not come back home to porties? Observer? Would be a handy pick up.
