Regulation 10.2 i) change of wording to read “To be eligible to play in the finals of an age group, a
player shall have played six (6) matches in that age group, with that club during the season, in
either or both the Saturday or Sunday competition – this excludes the 10 nominated Saturday
players, who will be ineligible to play Sunday competition in their age group after the nominated
round specified by the Board of Directors each year. This does not preclude a junior player from playing
in a higher grade.”

And, unless the rules have changed, once a junior has qualified to play finals, they are eligible to play in any and every higher grade come finals time.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

But put nothing past compass they were really good and will give the others in there league a good run for there money .Was a good run for the coaching staff to see who will be in the running for an a grade spot for brighton. There were about 3 or 4 boys playing there first a grade game straight up from under18 side

Think Compass did the same last year beating Cove by nearly 15 goals. Brighton still going to be very strong as again Cove lost all 3 trials last year to Compass, Goolwa and Valley. Dont know what side compass put out but Under 18's being exposed early to A grade players a real boost for the Bombers and lets the Kids realise what weakness they can work on before season proper.

Looking forward to the trial tonight v Happy Valley.

Any idea on how strong the Valleys will be this year? From what i saw in the 20/20 comp they were young but allegedly had over half their a grade side missing on the night of the finals!

Have they managed to pick up a couple of big fellas?

There's talk that Myponga are trying to snag a few of their quality players, so it would be interesting to see who they have out there considering the season starts in 3 weeks.

"Kappars" perhaps before you make ill-informed posts you should get your facts right. Happy Valley are one of the top clubs in the SFL so evidently yes they do still exist. The "Dirty Ranger" who won last year's brownlow medal played his junior football at Flagstaff Hill. Would love to see you use that term to his face.

Who were the guns missing clops?
Sam J and Hodge were easily stand outs for Victor.

Actually your right. I thought Hodge had a tattoo on his arm, so no he didn't play. There was another bloke across the half forward who was good, blonde curly hair, I think his name was Luke as well. Was that Luke Ellis?

Mate, i'm still working out who plays in what team! I think we had about 3 or 4 A graders out. The interestin part of the game was David wanted to play people in different positions to see how they went, which was interesting to say the least!
