nothing to worry about with scott mac he will play..

No he wont

scotty mac not the only one put in the book on the weekend rumour has it that the whole of elizabeth east div 4 side were reported on sun after there loss to central united i was there for the game and some of the decisions looked a bit dodgey but the way the players swore and berated the umpires was just discrasefull. i think though it probably had more to do with eliz east not loosing a game all year and then going down when it counted i well always next year.

should be a good grand final this week in grade 4 brahma lodge vs central united
does anyone know where game is being played.

There was no swearing and carrying on at th PDCA umpire it was solely at the pin head in blue, 4 dodgey decisions one giving lubke caught at gully while he was at square leg from a bump ball the worst of them, just got to everyone in the end, we didnt deserve to win it only posting 129. a few players were sooking i will agree with you there though that really pissed me off.
i think brahma will pump them they have a really good bowling line up and some good heads batting

How did young Smith go for the Units Hanno? He gets some good heat for a 15 y.o hey.

most of it was the captain who bowled 3 blokes all day ,until units only needed 8 runs .heard a few blokes looking 4 new team, i no of at least 5

For one Two Wells are going to struggle this year because there are guys wanting to play Turf Cricket and other blokes who have had there time in the sun and don't really want to play in the highest Division anymore.. As for Two Wells Jnr's from the presentation night sunday night it was a very attractive thing to see so many kids out there having a hit and running around.. Pity there are not as many Adults willing to chuck the whites on!!!
With Our Grade 7 side playing in the GF is all well and good but it's afair way from them stepping up and playing Div 1 in the next few Years!!!!
James 7 your dead right!!

Haven't had a chance to say this to you but far out man....a couple of wild catches in last years GF. Won you the flag right there.

For those that fork it out they can hope to get a return quickly but it's with a good junior program that you get sustained success. No juniors = no grade 1 future IMHO.

thats the thing graham!! people are not leaving because of shortage of money, people are leaving to better there cricket or just to have a change.. good on you for having 26 junior sides though..

Gee, you lot are a sensitive bunch. Taking offense at nothing! The comment was actually more in reply to the comments about having good juniors. You're getting offended at a compliment if anything. Nowhere did I say anything about you guys leaving because of the money drying up, nor that all you were paid. Just a simple fact that if you need to pay money to get players then it won't work long term. The long term answer will be replacing the guys that go away for various reasons with kids.

Too many Sandy players more interested in counting their "bonus money" for runs scored and wickets taken throughout the season rather than playing well in major games against quality opposition. Then again, they did make more runs this losing semi than last years paltry 65. Leadership changes looming allegedly.

he's not the only one that should resign. i'd go with the captain as well. Very average season. with the side he had surely should have acheived more. They might want to spend there money on new mats next year other than a player like Hogan. Very under acheived and shameful. All that professionalism just proves it's not warranted i this assoc. Better of just being there for the team and playing as a happy bunch of blokes. Unfortunately money does not provide that.

you should stick to drinking late at night you made more sense, since you know everything, how much did sandy pay for hoges, it quite funny when clowns like yourself carry on about it on saturdays aswell and have zero idea about what sandy does for its players and club, maybe you should take a good look at what sandy does and try and improve your own club instead of wasting time bagging others or is it you have nothing to offer. And your comment about professionalism in this assoc just goes to show the attitude is typical of some of the clubs lets not try to be better just hope we trip over improvement.

I haven't the slightest clue what the money story is with any other club, so it would be pretty rough to imply anything. And I never believe anyone is on any decent coin. You hear stories like blokes being on a dollar a run and 20 a wicket but you get 100 and take 5 you're still getting average coin compared to a footballer of similar level who mightn't have to even perform to get that. I can't imagine any cricket club in our comp forking out enough cash year in year out to make it more than a nice bonus that might pay for some fuel along the way. Hence why I think if a club is going to spend their way up then they're going to be on their way down soon enough without kids coming through. If the Wells are getting some kids then their days in grade one might be longer than we once thought.

Anyway, time to look forward to the upcoming grand final. Anyone tipping any less heralded blokes to perform? Any predictions for best players?
