Tell me about it  I was promised faithfully Monday Morning that Saturday's A-Grade details would be on the website by Monday Night, then it didn't happen.
A certain weekly article now has to go to print without parts of their usual coverage.
I asked about a code or whatever to help me get into the unofficial scores etc and was told "that''s only for the League"
I've just about had a gut full of them. I'm nearly at the point of pulling the pin (will see out this year, cos I've committed myself, but the flow of info better improve sharply.)

M/Park are a very tall side and play to their strenghs with quick movement and long kicks to talls.

Big $$$$$eb played well but it helps when your 16 foot tall? Note he cant kick.

Word is that there is unlikely to be any updated ladders, scores etc until Thursday - seems a number of clubs stuffed up entering in the details and the League Secretary is having to re-enter a lot of it from scratch.

That idea was raised at the training session as well. When asked about providing a read-only account that journalists could use the FootyWeb trainer said that there were no other leagues using FootyWeb who had a journalist looking for info. It shouldn't be that difficult to provide a limited access login, so you can't change anything, but you can see specific areas of what has been entered. Would hope the FootyWeb developers would be considering something like this.

Lonsdale had problems as a Christies player who was obviously on the database when they printed their team sheet Saturday morning wasn't there Saturday night. Player was in the best so another player had to be given his votes and a mail sent to the league explaining what had been done. Also results couldn't be entered without providing 6 best players for each team. By then all the opposition had gone back to their own club so a few quick phone calls were required.

The people you are talking about came out to the club only weeks ago. They are not Hackham people. They have been told NEVER to return to the club. How could the club have prevented what happened. We dont know these people. We dont know what they're like. We cant turn anybody away from the club without a good reason. Now we have that reason they are gone.

And on the game, I played in the A grade and know for a fact that I and the rest of the team put in a good effort. You say we're worse than last year...what a load of crap. That is the margin we lost to the top teams by last year. This year we have a lot of youngsters making their senior debut. In saturdays game alone we had 13 players under 20. Around another 5 around 21 (myself included) and some old heads. 5 players made their senior debut as well. Edwardstown were 3rd in Div 2 in SAAFL last year. They have a good running game, good structure. Obviously Hackham arent up to their standard so why lay into us when we're down. Wanker.

PS. you've forgotten to mention the Townies supporters going each other in the carpark that afternoon too. Not that its their clubs fault.
