Shoe Boy, did one of your Under-14 lads really kick all 14 goals out of 14 last week ?
(Website has Noarlunga kicking 14 goals with R.Edwards booting 14. It also shows another player, C.Berkinshaw, kicking all three of Christies' goals ---- a very unusual game if this was the case)

Porter's ideas about defensive footy, and also Monday & Wenesday night trainings certainly arent winning him any fans... tho i hear its his crazy and far out ideas about something called "The Internet" that could see him burnt at the stake down at Happy Valley...

IIRC both half forward flanks started in the back half for the Vikings, right from the 1st bounce. This happened in the McGoos as well.

Happy Valley have been doing that for years- wings to half back (to run through the centre) and forward flanks to wings....at least against us anyway.

Admit it cant have looked pretty at the stamp- 36 in one half of MV, would have been shoulder to shoulder!

Does anyone have any information on how some of the SFL boys are going down at their SANFL clubs? Boys like Craig Smith, Jason Farrier, Scotty Brown, Chris Minns and the like. I did notice that Minns played league round 1. Hope all the boys are doing well at their respective clubs.

And on the game, I played in the A grade and know for a fact that I and the rest of the team put in a good effort. You say we're worse than last year...what a load of crap. That is the margin we lost to the top teams by last year. This year we have a lot of youngsters making their senior debut. In saturdays game alone we had 13 players under 20. Around another 5 around 21 (myself included) and some old heads. 5 players made their senior debut as well. Edwardstown were 3rd in Div 2 in SAAFL last year. They have a good running game, good structure. Obviously Hackham arent up to their standard so why lay into us when we're down. Wanker.

Good to hear HH3 we too have a young group with 12 lads under 21 that played Sat and an average age of 21yrs 19 days that played on the weekend.
Age is no excuse for poor performance it just gives the young ones more time to improve and we expect our youth to stand up when required!!!

I wasnt using it as an excuse. I was just saying having your introduction to senior football playing a team that would be the top rated team in Div 2 if they stayed is a pretty hard ask.
