i think you may have copied my post in the hawks section (tm)copy write is an issue here

what did you think of number 2 for marion paul couches son tom looks a real talent cant understand why the bays wont use this kid he hit up the full forward many times from the back flank at your ground with a 60 meter pass and smith didnt change step or direction any one who can do this is real class as his father was for geelong will marion be able to hold him or will the bays agree that the F..ked up(the bays never admit to mistakes played there for 3 years then again neither do south)

I didnt see that post but the one kick i am referring to really was incredible. All of the Marion boys on the sidelines let out a collective 'wow'.

Maybe he had a chat with McIntee who directed him to the $$$$$$

I would have thought Marion did not 'recruit' Tom, I would have imagined he was told to go there so he can get an A grade game straight up instead of playing b's etc at Brighton or Cove. I heard there is a few other Bay players being rotated through there. So maybe expect Marions form to fluctuate when this happens.

What is your view on the shoe's display on the weekend.

Injuries are part and parcel of the game and I dont think 2 many clubs put their best side out every week due to injuries.

We went into last weeks game with 3 very good outs including our skipper Despott and expected a very hot Porties that where 0 and 5. Our first half was very good with good skills and a very good attack on the footy but when Shultz and Whitey went down so did we as a group or more so Porties lifted big time and started to win the contested footy which we pride ourself's on.
Porties wanted the win more and it showed and that was the dissapointing aspect that didnt go down well for me. Maybe with such a young group we will have moments in games like that but it is something we need to rectify.

Some one once told me THAT if you cant run WALK, if you cant walk CRAWL, as this footy club never EVER gives in!!!!

as loosing is something not to be feared but how you loose is!!!!

Hey $hoe Boy, when he's not wrapped up in the cotton wool by the medical staff - how is young Mathew Despott going leading your troops this year? How are the $hoeys responding to his leadership? And is he likely to beat his injury and front up against the Emus this weekend?

Good to hear from you CT.
Matty has been troubled with a couple of niggling injuries in recent times and this after the best pre season Matt has had at the club.
As far as leadership goes Matt has epitomiised all that is required to lead the club and in doing so has been rewarded with the captaincy.Matt is one of the most respected members of the club and is held in high regard by both his peers and the club as a whole.
Will he play this week? I hope so and noted him on the track last night.
Will we see the return of Andrew Harris back to his old club this week? how is he travelling?
How is $cotty 450 Pollard going will he be on the track?

I would have thought Marion did not 'recruit' Tom, I would have imagined he was told to go there so he can get an A grade game straight up instead of playing b's etc at Brighton or Cove. We both know he is better than B's at Cove or Brighton mate.. but the current A grade players cant be expected to move aside for 1 or 2 weeks untill he gets his form back. The Bays recruited him to play league footy not SFL.
If Tom is happy to settle at the trotting track then good luck to him, and with the other players rotating through Marion this year you should make the finals..
