Bombers top, Reynella second. Emus third
Cobras must be wondering what they have to do ---- beat Reynella and still sitting outside the Eight.

Headed out to the Reynella game and was very disappointed. Altough it was hard with Milo, Bradshaw and Corstens in ice early they were hardly in the match. Maybe just a bad day and will have to watch again soon to see if they are the real deal this yr. Farrier was good but from where i was sitting all I could do was hear him. He rated himself so much seemed to think he was the greatest player every! just an observation.

And Sorry but Panter32 are Reynella paying you?? I do honestly hope not.

Another loss to the "Towns"! Any thoughts that Edwardstown may be rueing the decision to defect to an 'easier' competition??

might be not sure they might head back to amatuers next season , if they do they will have to start in DIV 7 if they do. Makes you wonder how the likes of m/vale, brighton valleys etc would come up against goodwood saints, henley beach salisbury north if they ever moved to amatuers, but again they would have to start in DIV 7 if they did ever move

surely they wouldnt have to start from div 7 would they noone would ever want to come in. should be a grading system. maybe now we will believe that towns didnt get a concession on the draw and they are a 5th or 6th on the ladder where their draw has them.
c hristies have def improved but im sure that it was the umpires that won it for the bombers whats your thoughts sweendog

99% sure thats the rule would be unfair to the other teams if they just went straight to div 1 or div 2 etc. the other teams have earned their right to be there.

Bulldog they would'nt touch the top sides in div 1 at their peek. Where I am now (Sunraysia) I rate a better standard than the SFL and I doubt they would get near the top div 1 sides mid year.

yeah thats true just making a point that they wouldnt be allowed to just move in to those DIVs thinking they would have to start from the bottom like every other club does.

Postby GO THE PUNT » Sun May 17, 2009 7:03 pm

Well the results from the weekend showed that the top 5 will still have a good comp between them and that the townies have just joined the middle 6 to make it 7 clubs trying to fill 3 positions.
I will start it off and say sweendog talk your team up when you actually get close to a top side because from what I have heard about the beaches effort on saturday it was a joke.
I hope the people that you handed sh/t on while you were trying to contribute to this forum really give it to you. the way you were talking earlier on you were going to finish above a team thathas done you by 20+ goals. My tip is sweendog think before you open your mouth and let that dribble come out.

I heard there was an incident at half time of the reynella/cove game. Can anyone shed any light on this? Some officials from both clubs mixing more than words?
