I actually like Sweendogs Posts - nothing like a bloke wrapping his team up to be something there not and taking a huge fall and still giving us a laugh about how good they will be come finals, pity you dont play finals in 9th or 10th spot :)

hey pale ale weve got more chance than you boys [porties] of playn finals you missed your chance when we gave you a football lesson earlier this year.i think you will be the team sitting 9/10th at the end of the season

Dont know why you think that I am tied to Porties, I dont play anymore but do like watch games that arent lop sided,
I must say you continue to make me laugh with your stupid comments - you arent related to Cyclops by any chance :)

Michael Thomas still looks quite fit, or did during cricket season. Although running is not his strong point. He is the most fit looking unfit bloke you will ever see, he is a good bloke though as long as your not playing against him.

unless your referring to the fact my wife invited everyone elses girlfriends to the greyhound night coming up the younger blokes werent happy about that...

nah i also heard of this meeting organised by senoir players. players not happy with coach! very much like richmond! wouldn't want the coach to find out who these senior players are! :shock:

as i said guys only meeting called was a leadership meeting and greeny was present as the prez. but as i said already we do catch up most weeks trying to improve as leaders and improve the club, and another thing as a senior player its not greeny's fault we are playing like dogs. we were absolutely disgusting on sat but i will say one thing i feel sorry for the team that does face us first when it has gelled as in parts the way we move the ball is awesome it just is to far in between at times. a very close bunch of guys which will help as well. and sweendog theres no point making the 8 if the 7 teams above you give you a walloping and you get drilled first week in finals. all that is keeping your head above water is an easy draw and you got porties vulrenable and you keep going on about it as if it was the grand final. let your results speak for themselves you are an embarrassment to your club

For the sides competing for eight, the first and easy part of the draw over and the next four weeks will see almost guaranteed losses, bar two wins for flaggies. With that in mind, I think it is a good time to rate the contenders for eight in 2009

=> Flagstaff (Bad draw)and Aldinga (Not enough wins) can kiss 2009 goodbye;
=> Morphie Parks are sitting with a game and percentage in hand, are clearly favourites, and based on recent form, are the only club liklely to beat an elite team in the season remaining;
=> Christies are a game behind, but hold a far better draw. a full compliment of wins versus the contenders will see a beth in the major round in 2009
=>Marion and the Shoes - A game and percentage behind the egg and suace. Perhaps not a miracle, but something close, will see them catch the previous two sides with wins against all the competitig clubs and atleast one against an elite sides
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Mate, I don't think I should've even been picked to be honest, so hopefully if I end up in the team I can contribute to a win. Hopefully there will be more blokes out there this Sunday. Do you know who was selected from M/V as only Smithy was at the session I think.

Surely Sweendog is just someone from another club pretending to be from the Saints, no one could be that arrogant...for a club which has done nothing in 14 years

as ive said im a first year player idiot. i think you will find sweendog yes we have got a few new players this year but there is not one player that gets more than the base match payment that the whole 21 gets. can you say that about your club sweendog. prob not good bagging one of your team mates on a public forum either ie cheap shotting but close to a milestone

Taken me 2 years to finally get on this bloody forum and it's a joke that it has been a closed shop where a certain elite group can say whatever they want and not get any mud thrown at them.
I don't mind alot of what Shoe Boy says, and trust me he is on every league every topic you name it he knows it all.
I do have a problem with a guy who is the size of a beached whale, lives in the shadow of his brother (who is a legend of football and cricket) and does nothing but slag off other clubs etc unless they are Shoe related.
What about the feral element at last Sunday mornings mini where 2 car loads of middle age men are swigging in to the Jacks at 8 bells.
What a great club to be involved with, where is the football promotion in an environment of half wacked middle age men.
C'mon Shoe Boy get your butt off the couch if you really love your club and get down and promote a family friendly environment.
