Flaggies beat Hackham by close to 30 goals .... and we're obvously happy with that result :)

But I must say I was very impressed by Hackham - their coach is utterly on the ball and they have added a number of good players. They had some very good passages of play which they didn't convert. But it's a pleasure to say that it was a good contest (discounting the result) and the Hackham guys put up a great effort - by far the best side they've fielded against us for many years !!

All respect to Hackham - they really tried hard, no sh#t and it was a great show of respect for the coach and the guys who are working hard to make the club work. Good work guys .. and to Dennis Ker - I listened to some of your talks at the breaks, and you are a high quality coach and you deserve admiration !!

PS - Hackham trainers - we have your water container which was left on the bench ... it's in our trainers room, and you can collect in any night this week xxx

Reynella beat Christies by about 10 goals or so, and I heard Morphies beat Parks by about 30 goals!
The only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!!!

Emus did it easy over the twisties. Credit to Morphie Parks tho on staying out on the field after the game to form a guard of honour for Shane Fishlock in his 300th A grade game. Unfortunately for Fish he couldnt cap it off with a goal despite the tactics being "look for fish" in the last 10 minutes.

Good to see the Cobra's are waking from hibernation. Getting a few back, great to see Weeds back lost count of the number of marks he took down back to stop the shoe's forward thrusts. Great game by Josh Ramsey led from the front. Book ends are getting back to form.

Hey DTH in answer to your question from a week or so ago. No hang over at Cobra Park, just working towards September with a purpose.

Reigning premiers to good for the Shoes but again some good signs starting with big Shultz who dominated the ruck against big Size who is obviously injured? Thomo again was hard at it and won a lot of the footy as did Dobo but some poor skill errors and decission making let us down as well as hitting the post 6 times and allowing Cove to kick 7 goals to zip in the second quater.
I thought Smith was also good on Reavill but after the game you find out he kicked 5,the lad is quality.

Must comment on Whitey who played a cracker and hard at it against his old club.

Also must make comment on Josh Vick who without doubt is a qaulity player BUT Josh you are not the ump or are you getting ready to take up umpiring??

Well done Cove a proud and quality club.

Must finish on a sour note and that is the dealing with South Adelaide over the last couple of years on many issues culminating with the last week and the double standards or lack of from this footy club!

Noarlunga footy club has a mission statement in place that is all about aspiring to be the best you can and to take the pathway from club to SANFL to AFL and we have always advised our juniors and their parents that South Adelaide is the way.

The last couple of years have left us in no doubt that this advice needs reviewed and we WILL give options to our members in the future as we believe we would not be doing our kids and their parents justice with the curreent climate and admin at South Adelaide.

Probably to hide the unfairness of the draw.

Just think, if the program played out as per normal, at the end of round 14, you would see a true reflection of each teams relative strength in the SFL, as opposed to the end of the minor round, when often 1 and sometimes 2 weak teams coast into the finals on the back of an easy draw. It can also mean the difference between a double chance and otherwise.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Did anyone at the cove noarlunga game see that huge mark from the bold cove no4? Running back with the flight! Who is he because he can play. Noarlungas over use of the footy cost them big time loads of turnovers.
Who is this dean bloke? I dont think he would have made a huge difference as the cove midfield smash noarlunga thats where the game was won. Would need more than 1 player to change this result.
