Flagstaff had the bye, but moved up a position in both A-Grade and B-Grade
Obviously had something to do with lessening percentage of the sides they jumped over (Footy is strange)
Flaggy B's had the bye and found themselves promoted into the Top Four !!!!

Nothing quirky here- thoroughly deserved!

You won't buy an argument with me on that, Mattee ---- totally agree with you.
Its still quirky though ---- how many times would this have ever happened ---- both A's and B's !!!

My tips for the round:
Brighton by 120pts
Edwardstown by 72pts
Morphett Vale by 180pts
Morphett Ville by 5 goals - think the difference here will be big Seb - don't think valley have the ruck stocks, clearances to decide game
Port Noarlunga by 7 goals
Marion by 15pts - thinking an upset - I am not biased at all
Reynella by 195pts

Good luck all and lets hope hese behind the play bullshit incidents stop this weekend

An intriguing point for today's round of footy ------ how close will Scott Pollard be to the ton by the end of the day after his encounter with the Hawks ? Especially if the Emus start looking for him later in the afternoon.
22 gets him into the Nineties ----- I'm guessing between 85 and 90, but could be higher.

i heard they did all get a goal in the end?

i also heard that someone from HFC (coach or president?) wasnt happy with the way morphies treated the hawks, in terms of trying to get every player a goal, saying it was very disrespectful and he let his thoughts be known?

Quite poor form of Morphies if true.

Well if the Sunday mail is correct then they all did kick a goal. Poor form you say? I'd say GREAT form from an outsider looking in, what would you have rathered, kick 60 goals like they did a few years back? Didn't Pollard kick something like 30 goals that day? How is that any different? Either feed 1 bloke all day or share it around? Only poor form is from the Hackham hierarchy if infact they did complain. He should be looking at the positives, by the sounds of it this Mosar can play and they kicked 3 goals. When was the last time they kept Morphies below 50 goals and kicked 3 themselves? Get over it Estebian!

i think the issue is with the "lack of respect" shown, as i can just imagine what it would have looked like from the sidelines. my guess it would have looked like they were just "toying" with them, handballing the ball around alot in their forward 50 to try find the player that was yet to convert.

The Shoes went down to a good Townies side. Half time scores even but after that they kicked 11 to our 3.

The B grade was a very similar game and score line but again the young lads showed that the future is bright with more lads this week stepping up to play senior footy as we had 6 from the A grade unavailable due to injurie or sickness.

The under 16 lads again played well after defeating the top side last week and another big scalp this week in H/Valley.

If you have not played at Edwardstown be carefull where you park your car in the street as we had a number of people receiving parking tickets. No scoreboard for the 3 junior games?/No coffee or tea untill the 2nd junior game/also when will Edwardstown align with the SFL?? Runner in A and B wearing board shorts and a club shirt?(where is the fluro green) and players wearing SAAFL shorts?? if they want on board get with the system as the SFL have fined clubs in the past for these points!

The only disrespectfull thing that happened in that game was the SFL making Morphies to have to play Hackham, Whats wrong with getting all your players invovled in the game and have some targets on a boring day of footy.Harsh but True

Respect is given when it is earnt. To hackhams credit, they are definately much improved since i saw them last but still have a long way to go. I agree that mosar bloke is a standout for the hawks and tried hard all day. Unfortunately still had 1 bloke (no.7) who just wanted to try knock every one out instead of trying to get the footy. Also well done to hackhams coaches who refused to stack their backline and continued to play 1 on 1 footy all day. Made for a better spectacle from the sidelines.
