Hey Vics 01, Shoe Boy has made some strong comments about a certain Cove Copper. Any comeback in defence of the copper. How about both clubs make a complaint to the SFL about this 'very nasty incident' so you too can share the joy of contributing to Warman's retirement fund.

The league find the b grade runner from lonsdale 100 dollars and gave him a 3 week suspension for telling an umpire to f off two weeks ago, the runner happened to be a league life member and hall of fame member. How do the league have the power to fine individuals, the person in question pleaded guilty and has not complained, just posting as a word of warning to other officials that the league will fine people as well as suspend people if they are found guilty at the tribunual.

Thats ridiculos! Isnt it an ametuer comp! I would be chasing this 1 up. Pretty sure they can fine a club but not a particular person! Just shows how bad the SFL is!

SHOE BOY

One can only assume that a number of your supporters would recognise coppers due to the continual contact they have when in the back of a Paddy Van. I must say though only a minority as the majority are just good footy people.

But if you are going to tell a story tell the whole story. Having watched the incident unfold like you. I believe the Cove U16 manager asked for the Cove official to ask the Noarlunga supporters mostly U18 to move back from the inter change area and at this time both Cove officials were verbally abused called such names as F------ C---- etc. This was led by an adult who I believe is your B grade ruckman, although I must say he is a better performer as the under 18 water boy than he is a ruckman. The only Cove people inside the fenced off are were the 16’s team officials.

Just how would you respond at Noarlunga if 15 or 20 people stood inside the fence at the interchange area????

The Cove official rang the SFL as he told the group he would be doing to seek clarification on the ruling surrounding encroachment on the inter change area.

The copper who rolled up to watch some footy is an ex player at the Club and was standing talking to the official and a couple of other people. The 17 year old you mention damaged temporary fencing causing $200 damage. It now all needs replacement. Apparently he was stupid enough to do it in front of the copper.

I can’t wait to hear what the Cove official thinks of your post, I thought he did well not to act in response to the filthy mouths of the few who were gobbing off.

They are not an Embarrassment not only to your club but to football in general

I reckon by opening your big mouth on here with a half baked story you are going a long way to winning some new friends at the club.

Aside from the FEW it was a good day with some good hard contested footy between all the teams.

Anyway this subject needs no more comment, lets move on and play footy.

I understand WARMAN is not looking to retire till end of 2011. Still plenty of time to top up the retirment fund.

Watched the christies aldinga game on sat. Andrew Bachmann is full of class. Dominated the match. Would like to see him do this against the top sides but i suspect he needs some more talent around him to give him the space to use his pacy. Christies are lucky he has character and stuck with them.

kh I watched the game also and agree the lad can play but lets make a couple of points.
He played in the ruck?
He played against a lad 5'10.
He played against a lad in his first year of footy.
But I do agree would love to see him do that against quality opposition.(no disrespect Ol)

Yeah he did ruck so would be an extra midfielder around the ground. Super pace. Can only play against what hes up against not his fault. Saw him change a game v norwood in the A grade so no question he can play!
