Have heard the Torrens Valley Comp will possibly be a 9-team format this summer ... Paracombe, Mt Torrens and Palmer all coming up from A2. Will be interesting to see what happens when they play the likes of Loby and Kersbrook .. mite be some big scores coming up. Still, it has to be better than the four teams they ran two years ago! Believe HCA will have 10 teams in A-grade, Basket Range stepping up

BM - onto it again!
basket Range in A grade, good on them.
I reckon if you win a flag in 1 grade, and you didn't have a team in the higher grade, then go up.
They will need some decent 'ins' though.
And there'll be an 'Aldgate Hotel' D grade team as well. I am not joking, and NO affiliation at all with ACC.

Fair dinkum. Not sure of their home ground yet...maybe Aldgate Bi Lo carpark??
But as far as I know, they'll be there in D grade.

Admittedly Aldgate's home ground isn't the best, but to be honest, work has been done with (as you'd all know with cricket) limited funds.
I'm hoping the pocket near the nets gets a bit grassier, interesting at training!
And Bazz you're right, I heard their home will be Heathfield primary. Make sure you pick a demon of a keeper, yorker bowlers and a f'n quick guy at fine leg!!

I can't see a D grade side representing a pub showing up for too many games on a Sunday, even if it was played at Adelaide Oval.

Good to see that much cricket is to be played in the hills though.

Does anyone know what has/will happen the Stanley Bridge? With SCIB's playing A B C and now D grade, Scott Creek Oval will be required every week by SCIB's I would have thought. Where will Stanley Bridge play if that is the case?

Looks like Oakbank will be their new home. Good bloody riddance if the postage stamp was never used again. Those f'n lost balls!
SCIB's should give it away and find something else too.

To be honest, I love the backdrop of the grounds around the place. But I reckon that it doesn't matter how well you bowl, there's an odd-on chance you'll be looking for a ball at some stage.
And it's normally so damn hot out there!
