Or the high tackle on they missed directly in front of goal, or the holding the ball that happened in the 3rd quarter or even the throw which happened in the last quarter. Do you get my point? Very dangerous practice over ruling the umpires after that game has been finalised. How do the field umpires escape this anyway? If the controlling umpire has not performed his duty correctly in sending off a player how can Morphett Vale be penalised?
I'm sure we haven't heard the last of this?

Well done C/Beach to good at the end but we live to fight another day.
Just a couple of sour points and Dillgaff you as a team manager should no that you leave the rooms in the best state you can! The away room was left in a disgracefull state and I know as I am the bloke that has to clean up!! There are 2 bins and a broom and no excuse for this filth!
Also I know we won by 10 to 15 goals in the B grade but the C/Beach ump(Mick) put up the most biased performance I and all that watched, including 2 of your own life members that were left embarrassed watching with myself.

Hardly worth M/Vale following up tho - got much bigger things on the horizon starting with a HUGE game at Brighton this week.

Bag The Points wrote:Think we might be landing too much of this onto the umpires. I'm sure the official rule DOES NOT include automatic loss of the entire score to that point (pretty sure that point came up in a case a couple of years ago) ----- the rule as i understand it to be is that penalty is applied according to severity and circumstances (whether full or part deduction of score, or the application of some other penalty).
I agree the ump concerned may have erred in not implicating yellow card correctly, and maybe that was why the umps then ruled the way they did ----- which makes that ruling not to deduct any score the correct one in my book.
Maybe the powers that be should actually accept the umps ruling. And by the way ---- this ruling would NOT have been affected by being scared of the crowd. That suggestion is totally ridiculous.
