He is too big too strong haha!!
It's a great return, came 3rd in goalkicking with the other 4 of top 5 coming from sides in top5!!
Based on that he would have to be the best forward in comp this year!!

What do you say?? :(( :((
All I can say is very very very disappointing finish to the year.

Congrats to Flaggies who came to play and showed some what commitment is all about? Also good luck to all in the finals series with M/Vale the team to beat.

Good luck to the B grade lads 18/16/14 that will play in the finals series :ymapplause:

Seeing the draw you guys had, and that you couldnt beat teams below you to give yourselves a finals position, i would say that you would be unbelievably dissapointed.
In saying that, i am hearing a few whispers about people not happy with how the coach is going down there...... with a lot of $$$$ spent (and some youngesters in the team as well so the whole team doesnt play like millionaires) and with the poor results of the last couple of seasons, could we see a changing of the guard next year?

what do people think the results will be this week
Q1 A grade emus just keep rolling on
B grade emus as above
Q2 A grade Brighton should be too strong
B grade Brighton both good sides but think the bombers will be too slick
E1 A grade Cove too good not to back in this one
B grade Noarlunga traveling ok at the moment and knocked off valley last time they met
E2 A grade Happy Valley by plenty too good for this mob
B grade Reynella as above
not sure bout juniors because i havent seen enough of them throughout the year

You are right, with the draw noarlunga had they should of been playing finals footy. but when you cant beat the teams such as christies, marion, & flaggies you dont deserve to be in the eight.
i dont think it comes down to the coach what has happened this year, i think it was the players that let him & the club down big time.
goodluck to everyone playing finals

Have heard that Noarlunga are in the market for a new coach next year with patience seeming to be in short supply at the $hoe.

Whoever gets the gig will have a lot of money to throw around as well which would suggest that $hoe Boy$ beloved youngsters might find themselves running round in the 2's... if this does happen then it seems like all the work they have done to improve the club culture down there could be ruined in one season.

I'd definitely rate him top five.
By the way, the one whose name I couldn't think of to add to my list was Bomber Ryan.

So Duncan Draper was no good?.. have to put him up there.

Of course he was good. Just picked a couple of names off the top of my head as an example.
My point was there was plenty of opposition to the notion that Hibberd was No.1

Not just dunc but Clint before the incident was 70 something from about 8 maybe 9 games and Godwin as well. Butcher in a team winning 5 games kicks 55 should be up there too

Shoey, you questioned the Goolwa/Pt Elliott side about paying $$$
I believe the line was 'How do Goolwa justify paying so much $$$ when they put in performances like that"
The Shoes are renowned for spending up big, how do YOU justify the sums of $$$ dished out when yuo can't even make the 8?

Just back in the office Cyclops as I dont run from any questions or hide!

This stigma of money that the Shoe pay is from past history 2000 -2003 and that stigma is justified in that time but the direction the club has taken since is far from that. That doesnt mean money doesnt change hands it does as in ALL clubs and we the commitee are responsable for the direction of this club both on and off the field and I can tell you that both are very healthy. Yes we expected the A grade to perform much better than they have and the player group and coaching staff will go through the review process so we can move on and get this club back the respect it deserves.

lets just name everyone in the SFL as being a great forward. Gary Karpany kicked 44 goals and lonsdale only won 3 games put him in there as well. blokes kicking 50 goals in 1 year and being put in the list of best forwards over the last ten years.... be serious.

Smithy more up around the high 70s and missed 6 games. Think about it. Marion didn't make finals. that's a fair effort.
