Cove seem to be hitting form at the business end of the season and could be Morphett Vales biggest threat.

No big Seb in best players today. My spies tell me he was seen out on the town very late or should I say early Sunday morning. Playing for the guernsey or the coin ?

Well done to Christies for proving they deserved their finals spot. B grade weren't disgraced either and Under 18's had what would have been a rare junior win vs Happy Valley today as well. Looks like they are heading in the right direction. Fab has copped a bit for recent issues but the club must be happy with the overall performance.

Cove vs Reynella next week should be a beauty. There's alot of talk about Cove being the big threat but Reynella have done little wrong and have made MV earn victories twice in recent weeks.

good hard fought win by the emus on sat,the likes of the bayleys, beeching, ellison and sampson were sensational.i thought the emus kept the wineys in the game by inaccuracy goal kicking all day.glad the final siren went wen it did coz the wineys got a bit of momentum up and started too look dangerous, another 5 mins game could have gone either way.also a mention to smithy as well he was also very good.i wonder if early deliberately targeted nathon bayley as he seemed to cop it especially early in the game, which just seemed to fire the little gun up.

i remember in juniors opposition coaches must have told their players to be physical/dirty to lil nath, but all it ever done was egg him on to greater things. think it took coaches a few years realise it wasnt a good idea.

I gather its Reynella vs Cove, & Edwardstown vs Happy Valley this week.
Do we know which days and what grounds each game is being played?

Pigsy thinks they can start putting 'Morphett Vale 2009 Premiers' on the Cup

Can't agree with that one SB. Braden Bayly is always on the ground because he throws himself at it all the time. He finds so much of the ball he doesn't need to resort to trying to con the umpire.

Well done to the Shoe sides on the w/end. :ymapplause:

14 had a good win over Aldinga

16 game was the best game I seen over the w/end against a good M/Vale with great contests all over the park and a narrow win to the Shoes who go straight to a Prelim.

18 made a contest against M/Vale but at the end of the day beaten by a better side.

B 2 years ago same sides same venue and Noarlunga 0-0 to Valley 20-20? how things have changed and a good win but am sure Jack was not pleased as they can play better footy than this.

B and 14 get to play at home this Sat and the weather is predicted to be fine. :partyman:

Sorry BTP just my opinion after watching M/Vale a few times it is my observation! Agree the lad can play but he is a diver.

Can't see Valley or Towns winning the requisite three games in a row.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

I'll agree wth shoe boy, the Bayly's play for their free's as much as possible, but hey it works and they keep getting paid the free's!! As much as i love to hate the lads, they have some football ability the hate i have towards them is more jealously!!
