Nah hate them!!
Always arrogant and think there better than anyone else, loud mouth supporters that go quiet as a mouse when they lose.
They deserve all the non finals success that they get!!

Tell you what, Morphett will be glad they don't have to deal with them again until Grand Final Day (if Reynella get there) and they'll be secretly hoping someone gets rid of them before then.
Not saying the Emus are scared of them, but I've seen all of the Morphett/Reynella battles this year and the Wineflies have made them earn both of these last two wins.
It'd be good news for the Emus if Reynella are gone.

I saw the last half of the game on Saturday and i think a few late goals to Reynella made the scoreline appear closer than what the game really was.

Besides the second quarter when Reynella turned the ball over from just silly mistakes allowing Morphett Vale to score 6 goals to 1, Reynella won the first and third quarters and drew in the last, so I would have to disagree with you slammer. Out of the three games between the two teams, Reynella won the first game by 5 points, Morphett Vale won the second game by 19 points and Morphett Vale won the last game by 14 points, so all in all they have been pretty close games each time. I just think both teams tend to match up on each other well and maybe the "Earl" influence has Reynella playing a similar style now to Morphett Vale???
The only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!!!

25 scoring shots to 10 after qtr time including 9 to 4 in that last qtr where they were level i think maybe tells a slightly different story.
Time will tell if we get to see a rematch.

Hi all first time poster here brief history...... i have lived in Melbourne all year starting up my own business doing footy clinics, it has exceeded expectations and has gone of with a bang. I have relocated here to Adelaide to get the clinics up and running.

Went down to the SFL final at Aldinga (junior games) and Noarlunga on Sat hoping to find out some information on a few coaches from last season, mainly juniors, in the hope of getting some on board here in Adelaide. Overheard a few od the supports talking about this site and decided to join in the hope of finding a couple of people in particular.

First person - coached Reynella U16 last year, possibly Jolly?? have asked around i know his son may possible be a boundry umpire but was unable to catch him on Saturday.

Second - has coached Morphett Vale juniors last couple of seasons, and i must say how he is not coaching this year is beyond me.. don't know much about him apart from the fact he is a bloody good coach, players respected him, played for him and from what i could tell LOVED him. From my observations him and his wife worked together, she was pregnant last season so it is possible that they are not doing anything because of this? I also went to the junior games on Sunday but no luck... Can anybody please shed some light as I am very intrested in speaking to him...

Must have been asleep throughout the third quarter which Reynella clearly won. And they also had Morphett under seige for most of the last term.
Those last couple of goals were not something out of the blue. They were a continuation of the habit Reynella had all day of striking back. Morphett were then good enough to answer these challenges, but full marks to Reynella for keeping the challenge going.
If they meet again in the Grand Final my tip will still be Emus, but as in the Qually and other games this year, I expect the Emus to be under threat all the way.

I see what your saying but apart from the first 15 minutes when the winies flew out of the gate, morphies seemed in control for most of the afternoon. reynella came in spurts but morphett vale never looked paniced or concerned. I guess thats just how they go about their business.
Certainly a more spirited winiflies compared to the last few years but still too much in-fighting at Reynella to be successfull at the business end. I reckon the Yetti had it spot on.

Trying to stay pretty low key but happy with our performance on the weekend. Townies were good early into the breeze but we played a great second qtr into it and in control for most of second half. I still expect Townies to beat Happy Valley next week. I reckon their players 15-21 are better than Valley's and that will be the the difference. This is re-inforced by the strength of their B grade who had a good and somewhat suprising win over the Emu's.

The Bombers have had a big 4 weeks against the other top 5 sides so will relish the week off for both A & B grade and will ensure a good turnout for our 3 Sunday sides at Happy Valley on Saturday evening. No injuries to come out of the weekend so we sit and wait for Reynella or Cove. Please feel free to belt the crap out of each other this week Winies and Cobras.
