They couldn't possibly be dumb enough to give Mitton another go down there...surely. He can't coach, he can only recruit. The return of Mitton would destroy any credibility that they are nurturing youth for the future. Terry Finlay - you're smarter than that.

Just wanting to get people's thoughts. If the Crows get up tomorrow night they play next Saturday afternoon against Geelong. Apart from M/Vale, Brighton, Reynella people do you think this will have an effect on crowd numbers at the SFL Grand Final?

it will be a massive upset if reynella win on sunday - the ground is big and suits Brighton running stlye nicely. the RFC old brigade are going to have to run their asses off to have any chance... .

Do you think it will be more so this year with M/Vale gunning for a possible 5th flag in 6 years. I reckon numbers were down last year from the red & black camp and no Cove who had a big following there.

There was a huge Cove crowd there last year, Cobra hill was pumping. Shame it won't be again this year

Might be a little difficult to move everybody to Sunday, but hopefully if the Crows do win the powers to be at SFL house are progressive enough to move the GF's to Sunday. Shame not to have biggest possible crowds on the big day

would not have thought so most people that go to watch the crows dont even know there is such a thing as grassroots football.
And people involved in real football would not go/watch MFL sorry AFL over a real football grand final would they?
I guess if they never played the game they would watch that AFL

It isn't a matter of having played the game, its a matter of preference. I agree its great to watch regional footy and the AFL these days isn't what it used to be. I think the SFL have to have a serious look at this clash cos IMO it will have an influence on crowd numbers. Now for the Crows to win...

I'd suggest CHB without too much doubt, played well there last week kept Golding in check when he went down there... I'd expect the ball will spend a lot of time down there so Porter will have one of his most influential players down there probably on a Jorfalawsky or Beeching & trying to get back into Pollard's space... Good luck to him anyway!!!

Morphies flag to lose...

My tip is Reynella for the flag. I think they'll have the mental edge.
