Brighton didn't work anywhere near hard enough in the last qtr. They got smashed in the middle when it counted!

Once again the strength of Brighton A Grade would have to be questioned. Good in the minor round, but when the tough games come along they were found out once again. Still they will are in the consolation final. They will get all excited about that. It will be interesting to see what excuse DTH comes up with seeing they fell short again

great to see a mix of clubs in the GF's!

8 different clubs out of a possible 10 makes for a great day if the drunken fights and mishaps can be avouded.

DTH
Can't post without mentioning Cove failing to make the last 4 in A & B grade and their C grade petering out after early season dominance. 4 losses and a draw and an extra-time loss in a final probably deserves a better finish than 6th but history will show that Cove have had the largest post-premiership slide for many a year (I think). Plenty of "Stunned Mullets" down at Cobra Park.

DTH what can I say. Nothing other than Brighton seem to be the Port Adelaide of the SFL 'CHOKERS'

Unfortunately more like the Adelaide Crows as the Power didn't make the finals VICS01 (earth to VICS01....). But as Craigy said the boys gave themselves the opportunity by making the finals and you can only take out the big one if you actually play finals football. It was very disappointing and hopefully things will change come finals time in the near future. But all credit to Reynella - when the game had to be won they stood tall.....best of luck next week.

Now for all you Brighton knockers - pull ya heads in!!! The league is all the better for the bombers in the comp and one could argue the strength of the league (top 6 at least) is attributable to the bombers coming into the league....Our juniors and senior sides consistently play finals football... and I know you all appreciate the only little bit of fine culture you experience - the Brighton Bombers.....

As much as I dislike Brighton, bit rough to call them chokers etc. They had knocked out Reynella the past two years, and played Prelims & GF's the past few years. In the SFL, as one of the top 6 clubs, you make the Prelims and your season has broken even. Today, there was a point the difference at three quarter time. Yes they were out played in the final quarter, but bit harsh to say they have failed again!
As Hot Dogs said, you have to be in it first. They will be disappointed their ride has finished a week early. People are too quick to put other clubs down.
