Salisbury North might give it a bit of a shake up if they have recruited a few players as well.

Angle Vale might of lost a couple of players from last season.

My top 4
Salisbury West
Virginia
Brahma
Salisbury North

While that is a massive loss, one man doesn't make a team (Sibbs aside).

I have been out of the loop regarding SW team, who does that leave? Do they still have Picton and Creek????

I would imagine they would still have a potent bowling line-up and definitely still the best batting line-up. Who is in their batting line-up? McIntyre? Can't think of others from top of head.

With Angle Vale, I have heard Brad Pearce is definitely gone. Without knowing any others, that still leaves a fairly strong team. Carmen brothers will lead their batting and bowling, and the rest should hold their own in Div 1. They should be very competitive.

I forgot about Salisbury North. Having recruited Bomber, I would imagine they will be recruiting very well. Could be a smokey, maybe battle between them and Angle Vale for the top 4.

I have heard the same about B Pearce. Will still have a fairly strong side but Pearce leaves a big hole in their bowling line up.
With Bomber on board and maybe 1 or 2 others Salisbury North should be around the mark.

No one got relegated due to Two Wells & Sandy Creek opting out.

they really only needed one or two recruits to go with their existing team, they had many bowling options, they were a bit vulnerable once you got to their tail though.

Westies have the same problem every season as far as training goes, they don't start getting into it until a week or two before kick off. I wouldn't expect them to be any less of a threat this season as previous seasons.

Could do with a good steady top order bat too, I dont think Bomber fits this mould though, he will be a very good addition to their side but like LM said get early wickets and they can fall apart, like most sides really.

Yeah, westies do start training pretty close o the start of the season, but that's the way it's been for years. Most players wouldn't be keen (or in many cases able) to train too much earlier. As far as players coming and going we've yet to gain or lose anyone for certain as far as I know. But you never know who might be there that Thursday night the teams are selected. Also our B grade has won 2 grade 3 flags in 3 years and finished 6th in grade 2 in between with a lot of kids in the side. Any losses could well be covered by some of those kids, and they may just lose their spots anyway.
