The email address is up and running
ASCAtipping@yahoo.com.au
PM-ing will also be allowed, but those that do PM will be unable to challenge any result.
I will allow up to 3 entries for Comp 2&3.
The Ladder Tip will be awarded points based on Coverking's info, he will just need to explain it further then I will post guidelines for it.
Both Comp 2&3 will have the 'earliest entry' as tie-breaker, and entries accepted up to the start of the 3rd round.
An extended set of guidelines will be posted prior to the beginning of round 2.
I hope I haven't forgotten anything...

One or two of them will play a grade. As for rian he didn't play for us last year. And to that clown bagging us at every opportunity get ovet the fact we beat you in the gf (regardless if it was you b grade). after one bad year 2 years ago we played where we were told. Just because your club has been mediocre for many years don't bag other clubs.

Re: Adelaide Suburban Cricket Association 2009-10
Good Hit out saturday for our boys and altough we were easily beaten we were able to get a lot out of the game. Our top 4 batted well and although we didnt score quickly it was certainly an aim of ours to keep our wickets and we will get a boost with Mal and Fossy to come in.
Ck and the other opener easily got on top of our bowlers which was a little worrying but we still were able to look at a few bowlers against better batsmen see how they went it was hard when they were hitting the ball so clean.
CK or Bloods will the young keeper play any A grade this year didnt look to much at his keeping other then that run out/stumping but he hit the ball well and looked solid in defence. Also was your second opener always that attacking? he hit just about everything other the top and altough he never looked troubled will he be the same against a sambo or rowe?

Re: Adelaide Suburban Cricket Association 2009-10
Rian Crane is a big out for Morphys since sect 1 last time then. That would be disappointing as all rounders like him are what they will need to figure in top half of comp.
So no bad blood between Sheidow and WYC in the trial?? I'd have expected some agro from the Sheidow boys after players defecting to WYC.

Was definitely a good hit out for us aswell. Your openers did well to stay out there. IMO i think Arren and Callum both bowled really good opening spells, and your batters got through it. Was a good contest to start with. Your captain hits a clean ball we have noticed! I had heard he could, but he pretty much did it from ball one. He has the potential to take a game away from sides this year.
He (the other opener) is new to our club Tight Lines. One of my mates that will be a handy replacement for Pressy (cant replace a guy like pressy tho). He is definitely an attacking batsman, and he likes the pace just as much as anything. He does have a rock solid defence aswell, and i guess he will just play his game, altho he does usually play a lot more along the carpet. i had fun watching him from the other end.
The young keeper, he wont play in the A grade as a keeper, because we have Benny Mac. However i wouldnt be suprised if he play an A grade game or two this year. The only problem is, he plays school cricket and will miss games from round 2-6 and then the last game and finals i think. But i think he may get a couple games in and see how he goes i guess.
Is McGluaghlin (spelling?) going to be in the A grade side as a spinner behind fossy this year? It was pretty funny him bowling. Something like 15 balls to actually land one?
and i have one massive bruise from cookie on the inside of my leg! Prick!

Definitely a big out from there Sect 1 side 2 years ago. All rounders like that are hard to get out to our comp.
No bad blood between the two clubs, had some beers and a BBQ after the game together.
And for the record AF, it has only been one player, not players that have defected to WYC
Was a good hit out for both sides though

Re: Adelaide Suburban Cricket Association 2009-10
These are the games for Round 1 of season 2009/10
10 October 2009
Coro Ramblers v Sheidow Park
Westminster OS v Western YC
Coromandel v Glenelg ANA
South Road v Plympton F
ICC Sharks v Morphettville Pk
Keswick v North Haven
CoverKing's Tips:
Coro Ramblers (Ramblers to carry on from last year, picked up a few, sheidow lost a few. Sheidow to take it right up to them tho)
WYC (cant tip against us, no Aust for westminster either, who was the only one that looked like scoring enough runs for them to win last year)
Glenelg ANA (coro not close to them talent wise. Too reliant on Cheek. ANA to win easily if they bowl first)
Plympton (SR for the wooden spoon)
ICC (Big ask for morphys first game back in Sec 1. Be interesting to see both sides line ups)
Keswick (rusty the difference, NH lack someone of Rustys quality)
