A bit harsh on Porties, Petoe ---- Absolute horror year in which nothing went right. Wrecked by injuries from the start, and then came that big wind. Wouldn't have made it easy having to move all over the place trying to find a place to train. And what a horror draw !!!
One more win and they'd have still made the finals. If I was a betting man I'd have my house on Port back in the finals in 2010.

trust me AFL flyer, ive got some big red hairy balls......... look until the deal is done then im not naming names and adding any extra pressure on these players from there respective clubs. Im sure if you really wanted to know you could make a couple of phone calls down at Reynella and find out before the end of the day.

As for this forum lacking a little, an S.O.S has gone out to our old friend THE MEXICAN to once again grace us with his very knowledgable and sometimes amusing footy banter!!!

I spoke to swooper and he tells me he has some very interesting mail thats just come to hand, im dying to know MEX....

haha ..awesome B.red hairy balls !!! c'mon Mex!

Already there is some serious talk swirling around regarding arguably Cove's best player and Reynella's best player moving on and finding new homes next season!

BULL SH!T you reckon, well watch this space and people close to these players know that it is a high possibility with the BIG $$$ being offered at some of the best players in the SFL...

Vick and Prescott/Milo? BRD please clarify :)

Surely not to the $hoe$?

milo's name as we all know gets thrown around this time every year!! credit to him for staying put over many years! theres is no way prescott will leave.. he will finish his career at reynella!

I would put my money on Vick and Bradshaw. There is some close connections with these two players to another club.

I have heard the club in question is Goolwa

It's funny you boys say these other blokes are going to Goolwa, maybe you are simply deflecting the attention to where it should be, in your own backyard. I hear it is actually Smith and Earl that are moving to Goolwa!

Come on Cyclops, you know I wouldn't just make something like this up. You don't need to be a brain surgeon to work out the links and i'm sure you heard this rumour before. Plus aren't the Bayly boys going to Mclarens with Hilly for $1k a game!!! ;)

AFLFlyer ... I agree Milo's name is thrown around every off season, but I question why you have said no way Prescott would leave? Is he signed for next year? With a young family, I wouldn't be surprised if he won't consider $$$ with his final seasons on the horizon. Only so long you can play for a coke & meat pie while others seeing $$$. Remember he did have two good mates go to other clubs for $$$.... is the grass greener on the other side?

Also a few years ago Farrier, Frick, D.Prescott, Ciampa etc were all rumoured to go to GSFL ... why not have rumours there too. I have heard GSFL teams are again hunting SFL (Reynella & Morphies players in particular). Let's not forget Bayliss, is he due for a new club in 2010?

Moral of the story is, no player at any club is a definate to stay until they have signed a dotted line. Maybe clubs should pay attention to home grown talent to ensure they stay.

Prescott almost left 2 years ago to another club if a certain deal was done. But it fell thru. Interest rates went up today maybe the $$$ been offered around may have to rise? to close some deals.

Have heard the same, I did see Edwardtown advertised for A grade coach in the Sunday Mail, although I believe Dave Evans was only assistant to Mat Golding. Also Heard Clay Sampson to coach Myponga in the GSFL.

In that same edwardstown ad was a position for u18 coach. Did they do that to please the men in maroon or are they seriously a chance to have a junior side next year?
