T.Maslin and S.Miles to open the batting for the Mighty Red Caps this Saturday in the D Grade out at Stirling East. Could this be the next Langer/Hayden opening duo? I will get back to you on the result!

S. Miles bowled 30
T. Maslin caught 75 (NEW HIGHEST SCORE)
And a comfortable win to the Lads out at Lofty.
The new opening pair just really took the shine off the ball. Go the Red Caps Super D's.
PS Jazza Elliot took catch of the century charging in off the ropes.

Also, i was at Hahndorf oval on Saturday and saw Shaun Tait having a coke with his Nairne mates, very very very big man, and also, its good to see Michael Fitzner back to his sensational best, bowling with real fire and venom, watch out for this boy he could wreek havok this year with his thunder bolts.

Lets just say ...I batted below my best Dutch. But a confidence boosting win to the youngsters out at Lofty. D. Cooper was brilliant behind the stumps and big Teddy Westley spilt a blokes jaw open coming off the long run. Also the young Fitzy twins were everywhere in the field. Go Red Caps. But personally Jazza Elliots miracle catch was highlight of the day.

See the great man Hunsie in form yet again ... 7 for against Nitro Nick's Lofty boys ... still Lofty got to 200! May well be a season of improvement, maybe even a win!!!
Notice post of junior talent ... mention of young Jaensch. Have seen him play a bit, but is he being thrown to the wolves so to speak. Asked to bat first drop, doesn't seem up to it. Maybe down the order where he has a chance against the lesser lights of the attack. It would be a shame to see a child prodigy, who I believe did learn a little bit about the game when on loan to the Gaters one year, amount to little than chopping block stuff! Please Hahndorf, don't ruin his career!
Is Tim Read still eating all the pies, hate to bring the afternoon tea when he's playing!

Any truth to that?

What the hell are you talking about you ballbag?

2 points:

1. Who the hell is Jizzmop?
2. Nobody could teach me how to play. I'm fat, slow, old, ugly and possibly the most uncoordinated bastard alive.

'loser' yes, but if you're going to start sledging me, at least think up something funny to call me.

Hunsie...there wouldn't be too many times in ones career where you make 140 one week then 7 for the next. That's pretty f'n awesome. Just imagine if he had gone to Glenelg...would Uri's fall over?

On the subject of Mt Barker, there always seems to have been a very unsavoury political situation at the club where the top brass of the committee is like some sort of secret society, i.e. they'll complain about having to do all the work but the won't let anyone else in anyway! As a previous poster alluded to about the Wistow link, it is very rare that a Mt Barker footballer will play his cricket at Mt Barker.

"Super League" wont happen unless A&EH or TVCA make the first move be beginning discussions.

HCA are travelling OK on their own.
