how long did paul oldacre coach at smithfield? only had a couple of brief chats with him over the last couple of years but seemed like a pretty good bloke. very passionate about his footy and smithfield from his seat just in front and to the right of the coaches box, obviously his favourite spot.

Bondy posted that it was 4 years, I thought it was 5. Yes he is a pretty good bloke, always keen to help anyone out, could handle a joke or constructive criticism, he always done what he thought was best for the team.
A very passionate coach who wears his heart on his sleeve, always positive in his line of thinking, we all wish him well for the future, he would be a good prospect for any higher division. He got let down this season by some of the players, hence the low finish, his belief in his players always gave them the belief in themselves, we have won some games over the past few years that a lot of people thought we had no chance.
He worked extremely well with the young kids that have been coming through, he has set a strong foundation for Joss to build on and he is always welcome to stop in for a beer, he made some strong friendships during his time with us.
