Jolby made 63 last week opening in the A/3s. Looked good and due to a few missing this week in the A/2s will get a call up.

Mylor wont be good in the next ten years maybe if they came up to a real grade and played we could but them back in the place, Happy Valley would beat Mylor by 10 wickets

Fats - admittedly it seems you have a good B grade, but I've gotta agree with PP - come up to a real grade, that's a measuring stick. Look what's happened to HV A's and B's (C's still strong), but them and now BR have had the balls to do it. Don't tell me that's there are more people to select from out at BR now...

From what the people who are running Mylor are saying: if things keep progressing nicely then there is a future goal of making the step up. Stil plenty of cricket to be played this year though.
To make the step up Mylor would probably need another genuine quick and a handy spinner. Maybe 1 more quality batsman.
Very young side who will only get better with experience and if they can keep all there players i am sure they could make the step up.

why would playing young players in the A grade be "struggling"?????

I would have thought playing 35+ yo's in your A grade would be! (Stirling)

Sorry mate I don't have a great knowledge of the Mt Lofty Cricket Club. Also on Mylor moving up to A Grade, if you look at it they have 8-11 half decent players at their club. This may change in the future but right now I don't think they have the depth to compete with clubs such as SCIBS Uraidla or Aldgate

Both Pistola's making A-grade debuts for different clubs. Might see Brett bowling chin music to Matt in the not so distant future.

Good to see Matt getting an opportunity at Lofty

Good to see some more young talent getting a go ... Sutton, Giles, Kepa, Wotton, Price, Dunbar, junior Thomas, Sinclair, Aufderheide and now the Pistols boys and Witt providing a strong future at various clubs. Coupled with the Lyons boys, Jaensch, Higgs, Lores, Rigby, McClelland, Rathjen, Hill, Rothe: among those in the two other competitions, cricket is in a great developing stage. Wolver ... does Mylor need a fitness coach to help its push towards being recognised as a potential top tier club ... the deplorable run out of another promising young performer in N. Cook perhaps suggests that his partner is a bit short on pace, fitness and awareness! Maybe Workout World can come on board as a sponsor?
