Did you have to re-imburse South for the money they paid to transfer him from West when he comitted there for two years. I hope South have not turned a blind eye to this, or there will be other SFL and GSFL clubs up in arms as they have taken a hard-line on similar situation in the past and rightly so

It is clubs like yours moe that is making the dollar rise. If u approach someone bring the cheque book otherwise focus on juniors and make it a club that people will approach you to play otherwise your standard will stay down as noone will bleed for your club only for the envelope sat nights. Not being rude I just know of some very ordinary footballers that have gone to your club and got paid 150 in one example and was a b grade player at the club he was from. Everyone knows your club cycles on dollars so will expect it

Ok asert, here is my thought out reply. Not attacking your character as i do not know who you are.
It is true Morphies probably over spent last season, especially on some forward line players, but that would be the only season in my time i think our football dept over used the chequebook.
Players who we have paid over the years that have & still do bleed for us would include Frahmy, Scoobs, Smithy, Boonie, Mitch, Patto & Rooey. Throw in old club faithfuls the Pitts, Knowles & Hardy our club culture is far from one run by the $.
Name the B grade player you mention & i will give you an honest assessment.
Sure we have a drinking culture too but I played in that culture and loved it.
As to everyone knowing our club cycles on dollars are these the same ëveryone"who know they don't pay players in Ametuer League?

Sorry P32 - probably didnt make myself all that clear. Was saying in jest that Morphies are losing 7 key players. From what i understand there might a couple of young fellas that havent been too heavily involved in the club recently that might try their luck elsewhere. I dont think these are players that would have featured heavily in the A grade plans in 2010. Also dont think there would be 7 of them either.

Well maybe it's just time for a free plug here .... Perhaps they could give someone at Flaggies a call - we're interested in hearing from quality B Grade players who feel capable of playing A's but are currently at a club who has too many entrenched A Graders to make their mark.

Heard a rumor today that 7 morphett vale boys have left to join another club
done deal and one had a name of SCOTT in this playing group ( no its not about the trainer either )also heard of whispers about the coach and
a senior commitee person having heated words and coach almost walking out on the club

It is true that 7 of our 2007 under 18 premiership squad are training at aldinga.
the boys have not played for 2 years, are keen to play again and feel there are better opportunities at aldinga.[aldinga been chasing them for 2 years.]
If it does happen will wish the boys all the best as iv'e known them since mini league, and let them know they are more than welcome back at any time.
As for the whispers you are hearing they are untrue. Stop making up stories that are untrue.
The A grade coach and his asst, have settled in very well, they can't beleve the numbers and talent the have got to work with, they love it at m/vale and are not going any where.

Why yes old & grey, its moe from the Simpsons by the way. The 80's were a fraction early for my senior playing days, except to say 1989 was a great year for my U/18's side. The 90's was when this comp was tough but fair and posers were dealt with early.

Is it true Reynella have three very handy past players returning in 2010? including one state association player and two who have played association footy. Also Robbo will be a handy return after last year out with injury? Heard this all from a player from a rival club, so it could be wrong.

Robbo is out again, re did his knee in the final meeting with his Doctor. Very disappointing!!!

Just read on facebook 7 more young guys from morphetval have signed at Aldinga, how many is that all up now? Things could be looking good for the sharks this season, anyone know any of these guys?
