All I'm saying is sometimes players like him get a better look in at league clubs when they have built up a bit of a reputation. I'd almost say this is tougher than reserves these days which is all full of young kids. Good example you have used with Sladey, good inspiration for other local boys. DO YOU REALLY THINK HE WILL PLAY OR IS IT WISHFUL THINKING?. that one is a bit like the story that the Bakers are going to leave Willaston every year :D

I reckon he will play Drifter. Has always had strong ties with the club and is a great mate to Aaron King. Have heard he will be travelling O/S at the beginning of the season though.

Caught up with Mike Rann at a Port Stanvac Desalination Plant launch last night.
If the indicators are correct, Matty Cragg-Sappsford has finished at Nuri after winning a Desalination contract.
Apparently Staff's been down on his hands and knees begging for the big man to stay.
Big loss for the cubs.

What recruits have Willaston picked up, i know they were courting one of our blokes form Broadview, but no luck.

Could find better company to have around the club.
Could be a bit to much puffing the magic dragon.
Willaston look to be ready for a long winter with little activity coming from the Seelander camp.

what would u know what willaston have done? just coz nothing has been said on here. silence can be deadly

While Tiger Woods is up to his fifth birdie publicly, one little birdie was telling me that Alan Jones is returning to Willaston.
1 knee recon later and also about 15kg heavier than when he last played at the Donnybrooks.

That story is certainly doing the rounds, some truth to it with Tan in with a big chance there. At this stage it looks as though the possible in's are S Agars, J Neindorf & L Westhoff while the outs are M Greenwood. Looking pretty good at this stage, not to sure how the point system works with all these guys and the rest of the side.

The Johncock - Jones combintation would make for an interesting forward set up with rookies Bornholdt and Krieg under their wings.

Does this mean that there will not be a round bye for the June long week end any more?

I ran into the great "B" train on the weekend at the v8's in sydney, he's looking very trim and set for a big year with a return to the midfield on the cards where he is most effective in and under the packs. There will be a few soft midfielders around the place feeling a little ill with this news, the young recruits at South will certainly find out what its all about!

good player kicked 50 in the blg.

Shaping up as though Staff's fall maybe be as quick as his rise with the big Sap and Chooker on the move, nuri best polish off the kitchen sink and throw it at Gerhardy to go around again.

very good footballer. 60 goals from a medium sized forward is a very good return. played deep forward for nuriootpa on the occasions i watched but caught his game for the assc team were he played HF/HB and was best on ground for mine. appeared to be most comfortable up the ground.

One feels everyone knows his snipers antics now. The only

Wouldnt like a 15Kg heavier Alan Jones sitting on my head , the guy has a enormous leep and ball skills that make most AFL players look average.

Johncocks workman like style will be a massive lift for the Donnybrooks in the Ruck and at CHF. Steve Brooks will be hard to stop when he lobs back in town also.

Willaston still need to replace Norsworthy , the netball club must be shattered at his departure.
