Excuse my writing skills MC.

Pretty sure he is 1st cousin. Have not seen him play since Port Juniors, was a big strong unit then at 18.

Look out APFL cashed up Hamley are back in town.

By the looks of the goings on at HB they may surpass any match day payments that the good old Hermy teams received in his tenor. Heard they have invested in an old armoured gaurd vehicle just so that they can get the players match payments to the ground each week!!!!

Also Banksa are coming on board and will re-open their branch in Hamley, obviously can see a gold mine by charging for withdrawels during the footy season.

The only reason he kicked the most goals was that Jericho and hunt played half a year full forward each, where as Hand played full forward every week and played Hamley 3 times, that does not make him the best full forward.

from what i hear he actually spent the first half of the year playing predominately in the middle.. he wasnt positioned permanantly at FF until the last quarter of round 9 against balaklava..

You clearly know more about his season than anyone on here so why are you asking us. Unless you really are pumping up your own tyres.....

everyone has their sources mate.. im sure you have contacts in other leagues where you can gather info

Jumbo I hear that Two Wells have several players training with league clubs at the moment.
Andrew Hardiman and Ned Seccafien training with Centrals and Lee Allmond with Eagles (though Lee only lasted one night I am told). Good to see a bit of APFL talent getting a chance at a higher level. I thought Jared Allmond may have got a spot on a rookie list today, but it wasnt to be unfortunately.

Any other players from around the traps training in town?? Dallas Hill from HWE is another that is with Centrals I think, is that right Jack?

have also heard this from a pretty reliable source, think it was pretty close to be signed off over the weekend. Craig Allen from Kilburn has signed also from what i hear. think Occonnor has been on the dog and bone.

Correct - Hardi and Ned doing a pre season at Centrals - should be good for them. Lee lasted one night eh? Didn't know that but he wanted to get even fitter  hence the pre season.

Not sure whats happening with Jared - runner up B&F in WWT league, wins SANFL "Rising Star" or whatever its called and still doesn't get a gig even as a rookie. The kid can play and looked very much at home at league level last year. Must be doing something wrong.

Unsure if O Connor has a role at HB, but wouldn't think there is a better team going around, Sponge and O'Connor, HB couldn't do any better in my view.

Qv surely u are a bit bias with earlier comments sponge and the 'all mighty' are an ok combination but surly role reverse to previous tenetures will not work? be like john howard sitting on the back bench for prime minister costello.
Maybe ur bias because u had a huge hand in bringing the combination to barossa in the first place??
however every man and his dog knows occor wouldn't do something if it didnt benifit him...

have heard his asking price for a sat role only was more than $100 p/h

Does anyone else feel a touch sorry for Burgess after he rocked up to the club 4 years ago on the back of a GF appearance only to be told the club had misplaced its cheque book for the next 4 yrs, then to leave, and have the Committee finally check under the couch….and whamo, check book found!

Ace.......That is not what has happened at all. Yes times were pretty lean financially in the first couple of years that Ben coached us and it was a credit he stuck around. But the last two years there was money around and Ben and some members of the committee and players busted their arses to try and get quality imports/recruits and it was seriously hard work to get players to sign! And as you know we had little success in this area. But there was money there, it was not being saved for a rainy day! It was well and truly bloody raining already!!!!
