Correct. Once again, money talks and loyalty walks. Will be a big loss for TTG, no doubt. Unfortunately we weren't willing to pay anywhere near what Meningie was offering. There comes a time where you have to say 'enough is enough'.
Loyalty becomes non existent when or where money is concerned. Noske senior told me only last year, Ben will never leave TTG to play footy elsewhere. Seems they'll have a bit of a drive each week to follow him around now. Ah well, that's life!
How on earth will Mum cope with this, her little boy leaving the nest to play footy in the sticks, my God, there's not enough time in the day!
Has anyone heard of Darran Crabb that played at Port Districts? Have heard a tall ruckman by the name of "Crabby" (Spelling?) is going to Pt Broughton for 2010. Was suggested to me it could be ex KI boy Darran Crabb. Anyone?

2 time B&F winner and runner-up at TTG...some players play better in SAAFL than country footy I guess....I have seen Gibson play and he is a gun...I agree different player to Brunoli, but I think everyone forgets Brunoli's season was made that much easier by the likes of Culpitt and Wicks....We will wait to see if the $1k a week is money well spent when he is the #1 midfielder in the team!!! And you even contradict yourself by saying you've never seen Brunoli play or any D1 games....I hope the rock is big enough to crawl under??
Rumour has it that Vansoest at TTG has bolstered his coaching stocks with ex-A Grade coach Kevin Baker back on board as an Assistant Coach...I reckon Vansoest was A Grade Captain under Baker a few years back so they would have a good working relationship!!! Good pick up!!

Gibbo is a good pick up. He will slot back into the midfield very well now that Bruno has left. Although they are not like for like players he is still a decent replacement. He has a freakish ability on the field.
