Should a club be judged purely on it;s A grade? and if it is like that, reynella are the only club who have consistantly challenged M.vale during the season and in finals over the last 5 years. it's my opinion and im sure most of you wont agree

MV have been streets ahead of the rest - period

My top 5 CLUBS of the decade would be: (taking in account seniors and juniors)

Emus
Flies
Bombers
Happyvalley
pt norlunga / noarlunga / cove (can't decide)

taking into account that is off the top of my head without studying stats.

Dont reckon you can count Cove in your team of the decade calculations, getting flogged in Div 2 early this decade isnt great form.
Most improved club however, they are a monty.

A decade lasts a long time. That was 2000 and 2001. What they have done since rates them in top five over the ten-year stretch in my opinion.
Very hard to rate sides below the obvious top two with Reynella so strong throughout yet not winning a Flag, and Noarlunga playing in the first four Grand Finals of the decade yet dropping right down over the second half of the decade. Valley bagged Flag in 2003 and remained high throughout the ten years.
Brighton made a number of Grand Finals plus one Flag. Has to be the obvious No.2 in my book.
My offering:- Morphett, Brighton, Valley, Noarlunga, Cove, Reynella

Shoeboy - conrtrary to your advide, i understand no deal whatsoever has been done to obtain Minns or Dean, both of who committed to South after they paid transfer fees to other SANFL Clubs for their services? True?

Pretty sure he began as a Winefly. Later spent many years as a Viking. Kicked plenty of goals for them but can't remember him actually cracking a ton.

Maybe he needs to be on a shorter leash if his antics out on the town are anything to go by...

IF x-emu player would stop flapping his gums about a mans teenage daughter then there would be NO need for a leash at all.
At least the emu could have wiped the powder from under his nose after eating that sponge kiss!!!! :butthead:

I see Reynella have recruited ex South reserves and Ironbank big man Tom Billings. Good luck wineflys... he should fit in well down there. Any luck you might get half a dozen games out of him if he hasn't already flattened someone behind the play and broken his jaw. 9 games suspension I recall. One different dude thats for sure... be prepared Reynella.

Afterthesiren - yeah I remember that case that was an utter shambles from all parties. The victim could not even recognise him in the same room @ tribunal, so got off and then he remembered him the next week by watching him get BOG against mt lofty. Total balls up by all, no one even saw it - you guys bullshited bout video footage which no one saw but anyway yeah he got 9, but move on it was an incident but he should not of gotten that punishment he was going to get done as soon as the pres of hills quoted it in the budget that week wanting his head. All in the past mate let it go! Any other league there would of been no come back and hearing thrown out due to the VICTIM not recognising the bloke sitting in front of him few days later, until they made up a new case and got the head they were after. VICTIM had only 3 weeks out I believe - JOKE. Still Billings should have gone to Ironbank I reckon and not Reynella. How many Ruckman do Reynella want? - he's a top bloke ole Tommy Rockbiter and gives his all whatever club he is playing for.

Just curious, Mr J. Is this Billings guy a decent player?

Ressies at South is nothing to hang your hat on.

How will he measure up in the SFL?

Did Marion have a crack at him, given the obvious link between he and you ... I mean Ex
