If so how do you see your clubs depth given that Where's Wally is on the open road chasing coin and Ned Seccafan will more than likely play reserves footy in town?

Last i heard lee allmond was doing a pre season with the eagles.
If Two Wells lose lee allmond and ned seccafien they will strugle

I think its a fact that you heard a strong suggestion Ben. Jared will make up for any midfield short fall that may occur. 4 new recruits on the track last night for a solid opening run.

Depth is fine - you may have seen the GF last season - had teams in both A and B GFs ;) . Squad will be stronger this season looking at the ins and outs and U17s coming up. Club has picked up a couple of good coaches to augment the existing staff. All in all its looking promising.

The new Rooster training jumpers looked good on the track last night - could be the start of a push to change from the vertical bars back to the more traditional white V. The bars have been in since 1981 - probably time to change it up.

Nice one Jumbo, must admit I am a fan of traditional guernseys. I reckon they always look good in any era. Now if only we could change our yellow shorts...............

Not a fan of the yellow shorts MC? I agree always looks better with black than white or yellow.

Definately not Jumbo. I think you would be hard pressed to find someone who is a fan from either within the club or outside of it. Black would be fantastic I think.

What was the kit before the yellow shorts - same jumper but with white or black shorts??

Yeah as far as I know Jumbo. I'm not old enough to ever remember wearing black shorts but I think we changed to yellow about 15-20 years ago to avoid a clash with Hamley and Roseworthy who both also had black shorts.

There are photos on our wall with a black jumper and yellow "V" but that goes back a fair few years.

Bet you can't convince Chief McArdle to do that! Time to get with it and have home & away shorts I reckon.

I heard Lee only lasted one night of pre-season training with the Eagles pre-xmas

Be interesting to see whether Ned and also Hardiman do the work required to play at Centrals, they are both training there, interesting to see how they go.

Also saw on the BL&G site that someone suggested that Graham Rigney is training with Willaston

Enjoy training tonight :D
