Done! Should we maybe try and get some pre interest in getting an AFL Dream Team League for the APFL? It opens on 1st of February but doesn't start until the season starts.

Perhaps if anyone is interested let me or Donkey know!
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

In 3 words, Big & Lazy!

Tacked on a few extra kg's last year to his imposing frame and managed about 12 or 13 quarters in 5 games... Saved the club alot of $$$... Couldn't get fit, had 2 dodgy hammy's, carried alot of extra weight and did nothing. Kicked 100+ the year before in Div 5 but if Virginia shouldn't rely on him kicking goals or they may be in strife....

I'm in for the cricket and I'll be keen for the footy also when you get it organised.

I also heard that Bascombe and Cocchiard (who knows??) have moved on to an amateur club in town. With no Geradis or Rigney either things are looking grim one would have thought. Its certainly a bit quieter on this forum from the Virginia crowd compared to this time last year

Virginia always seem to recruit players that only hang around for one year and then they leave i wonder why that is.

That only leaves Johnstone. Surely he won't stay. Anyone know where he is off to?

Sounds like Scudds will fit Rigney's guernsey like a glove! :D

Might be a bit early for that Queen! As long as Hamley don't make the finals I will be happy. A free carton from Norm which I will quite happily donate to the footy trip! :partyman:

Are the Rams a cashed up club that can buy over priced players just before the season starts...

spoke to some1 in the know at the rams and i asked about the players gone and he said
the culture at the club is changing for the better and if players arnt there for the right reason then they will be moved along.

A geradis. recieved a big fat N R for 2010
A Bascombe. was told that he would not be allocated an import spot for 2010 and if he wanted to stay it would be on clubs terms
Cochiaro. Couldnt give the club a decision in time so they said we cant wait.( However prob would have been happy to retain him)
A Johnstone Is Def at the club hasnt missed a training and is looking real fit.
A Mark. Has gone to centrals with clubs support but club couldnt hold a import allocation on the hope he would return.
Rigney Has indicated to the club that he will be playing for the rams in 2010, has been to a few trainings and a few else were.
C Mussilino. On a promise at centrals to play league by round 6 if not he will be back at the rams.
Schutt. Had a good season on the field last year but his arrogance and demands towards the club and coach saw most in the club not to fussed that he had gone.

He also said that the rams had filled all import allocations and were just going about business with a resolve amongst playing group that 2010 will be better than 2009.

Has he been anywhere for more than 1 season in succession? Gaza, Salisbury North, Ardrossan, South Gawler, Virginia in the past 5 seasons. Now rumoured back at South.
