don't forget Musolino to Centrals .... is that 8 out?

spoke to some1 in the know at the rams and i asked about the players gone and he said
the culture at the club is changing for the better and if players arnt there for the right reason then they will be moved along.

A geradis. recieved a big fat N R for 2010
A Bascombe. was told that he would not be allocated an import spot for 2010 and if he wanted to stay it would be on clubs terms
Cochiaro. Couldnt give the club a decision in time so they said we cant wait.( However prob would have been happy to retain him)
A Johnstone Is Def at the club hasnt missed a training and is looking real fit.
A Mark. Has gone to centrals with clubs support but club couldnt hold a import allocation on the hope he would return.
Rigney Has indicated to the club that he will be playing for the rams in 2010, has been to a few trainings and a few else were.
C Mussilino. On a promise at centrals to play league by round 6 if not he will be back at the rams.
Schutt. Had a good season on the field last year but his arrogance and demands towards the club and coach saw most in the club not to fussed that he had gone.

He also said that the rams had filled all import allocations and were just going about business with a resolve amongst playing group that 2010 will be better than 2009.

Good summary razzman. Theyll be around the mark again in 2010

Weird that you say that about Schutt. He told me personally that he had a ball at Virginia, and really loved the club but was heading back to his home club in Salisbury to help them out. He would be taking quite a paycut too i'd imagine.
Cochiaro signed with us quite a while ago too, so im pretty sure his mind was made up. Similar with Bascombe.

well put mate but how can a league club promise a player a league game by round 6 if his form doesnt permit? i know mussilino and im sure he'l do well at centrals but i just cant see them promising a game by round 6 if his not at least in the top 3 or 4 best players in the 2's at least 2 or 3 weeks in a row
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

Very interesting that about Schutt, as I know really enjoyed the on-field atmosphere of playing country footy, however the lack of a social club after games with little to no support for club functions, as well as a close friend of his getting the Salisbury job, meant that the decision to come back was a bit easier.

Yeah what i wrote may have been a bit harsh on shamus, but what the guy was trying to get across to every one on here is that even though he had a great season and he will be hard to replace (because he did give virginia a target and lots of voice) He was challenging Greg game plan and wanted to do things his own way all the time. And then the way he spoke to other players on the feild especially some of the kids, i think the coaching staff thought he was to much trouble to actively pursue him to stay so when he told the club that he was looking at going it meet with little resistance.
