I'm sure he got plenty out of the first session of the year..... not!

See ya again Thursday 630pm and please hang around for a snag :butthead: :butthead:

Apparently Youngy turned up at the Rooster's monday session this week - he declined an offer to join in the session.

at least he turned up to be given the offer, i heard that Lee turned down an offer to train with Virginia, without visiting them.

I heard he's heading to United. Think he's one of those blokes that will string you along for as long as possible, still linked to a return to Freeling I also heard.

Donkey, you can't link everyone to United. Like I said ages ago, all of our (very few considering our population) import spots have been filled.

I've heard he's been training with Balaklava anyway. Him and Stuart Lamond are very handy pickups for the peckers.

Whats happening with all of the ovals lately. Is it just me or are they all looking worse than normal!

Wakey and Lochiel are in just terrible condition. Be surprised if Wakey is green for the first game.
Two Wells is in a similar condition.
Long Plains, Balaklava & Mallala are all drier than normal for this time of year.
Havn't seen Virginia's
Hamley is in the best condition probably anyone has seen it for this time of year. Still a little way from being as good as Balaklava, Mallala or Long Plains but the right signs are there.

Perhaps its just me, but considering the season starts in 9 weeks I would hate to be playing early games at Two Wells or Wakey.

I must say that I do agree with what you have written Pink Bits. Our oval certainly is a bit dryer than normal as is Balaklava's which is also unusually quite patchy at the minute. I haven't seen Mallala's oval so I can't comment on that.

Lets just say though that I'm not looking forward to our first game which is at Pt. Wakefield. That ground is in absolute shocking condition at the moment.
