I was speaking to a mate on the weekend who has ties at Glenelg and he mentioned that Brett Backwell has signed with Angaston!
Can anyone confirm?

On the SAAFL website (ww.saafl.asn.au) in their Footynews issues. Went back over this years issues and has all clearances accepted and also pending listed.

He has many idiosyncrasies, similar to the great Ivan Silvy.
After pimping his name around last year, he played in SGFL, then later decided to return to GC when his side was getting mashed.
That being said, I can’t imagine him hanging around CG, as they will spend some time at the foot of the table.
