Just reading a few back copies of the Footy News

Was ther a Travis Natt at Kilburn?

There was one at Seaton last year - is there another one?

How can he screw that one up? He must have the information in front of him when he writes these things

nearly as good as Joseph Hay playing for Gaza

There's an old saying Jimmy, "sometimes you get what you pay for ...........................................and sometimes you dont!"
Pay peanuts, you get monkeys or second rate journos, then you get "cock-ups!"
So who has drawn the 'short straw"?

Well, a quick look at todays SAAFL Footy News

Page 6: Would have been interesting watching (from left) the All-Australian ruckman Clinton Giles tapping down to the All-Australian rover Steve Kennett............oh........hang on........the rover is 6 inches taller than the ruckman  and Max Bratton - he's so tall, shouldn't he have rucked instead of playing off a half back flank?

I'm confused - it was a long time ago though and Porter does have access to the League's records that I dont, so maybe he's right and I'm not

Quality journalism as usual..............

I'll read the rest tonight instead of my Mad magazine

The Prizes and Tipping Contest are in the Footy Budget not the bloody Amateur League stuff - which idiot told you that. Hardly likely that the Thebby boys would come up with something like that is it

think it is disgusting how some of you talk about the people who run our game. they are doing a fantastic job considering everything they have to do each year. sure they might make the odd mistake or two but always for the good of the game IMO

am sure the saafl staff and executive know better than the left wing radicals who only pick apart every litttle mistake made by the men put in charge of the league. if they could do better then perhaps they should stick there hands up for elections as mark asked for

How do you know they are "left wing"? They may well be "right wing"!
You may want to remember, no clubs, no SAAFL staff or Executive and most originate from clubland and that's why they have elections to chose who the majority feels will do the best job. People are also entitled to an opinion, be it good or bad ,I think or they were last time I looked!
