Re: NBA
Lakers were VERY lucky At least you got to see a quality basketball game and a very exciting finish with Kobe hitting his 6th game winner this season.

You'll probably be proven right there.
Playing for Toronto seems to be almost the equivalent of serving an apprenticeship.

Re: NBA
Interesting that one that slipped through was Larry Bird finally letting Jamaal Tinsley have a career again after having Tinsley sit out for a year and a half - although they were apparently trying to trade him.
Was an interesting situation as Tinsley was still getting paid anyway but Bird was adamant that he wasn't setting foot on court for the Pacers again.
Was it his supposed gangster lifestyle or was it just the fact that Bird wanted every last player who was on the roster at the time of the infamous Piston's - Pacer's brawl from December 04 gone?
A bizzare situation.

Re: NBA
Bogut's season is over after a sickening injury in today's demolition of the Suns. He was having a great game until he dunked on a fast break and lost his grip on the ring.
