Move it to saturday and clubs will benifit because Im sure that there would be a few players playing for amateur league clubs that are only playing for the lower side because its on a saturday. The sfl should have a serious look at this and go to the clubs that are involved in the c grade and ask for feed back and if its positive look at it.

If the sfl doesnt want to explore the option to improve the comp standard maybe the clubs that are involved in the c grade get together and discuss it and go to the sfl like brighton and christies did last year and ask to prgramme igames for a saturday.

What do people from other clubs think?

there are some good points to moving it to saturday BUT like a lot of topics concerning the SFL it does not suit every club all the time
Remember there are a few players playing Sunday because they work Saturday (now that its part of the working week for many)
Giving clubs with C Grade the option to organize week by week be it Friday night, Saturday night now that would be a big day is the best option IMO

GTP
Say if morphett vale were playing cove in the a and b grade at morphett vale you then would have the c grade play at cove. Gives the chance for the club to open and take a little bit of coin. If you had it start at the A grade time it could be possible for a ump from an earlier game to umpire it. I believe you would attract more people to the c grade games over time aswell as giving supporters to watch footy at the home ground most week.

Who is going to want to cook a BBQ/canteen or run a bar while the A grade are playing elswhere. 'C' is a bit of a fun comp. As a club we want people to come along a support the 'A' grade and all teams playing Saturday. Then on Sunday have quiet beer watching the C grade run around.

MVale were playing para hills but they pulled out and christies were available.

Wonder how many will be playing for christies? MV will run about 40 blokes through so should be pretty fresh for the full game. Still quite a few unavailable for various reasons though.

Sorry for the delay MG just had a meeting with the lawyers going over the finer details of my contract.

For the sum of 3 cows, 2 sheep and a chook with some substantial acreage in The Yetti's stomping ground, Kuipto, I have signed on with the Emudlarks as well.
