The bloke who fired up at me wasn't that old.

All I remember is, he was nutting out at me and I had no idea why. I kept saying sorry for whatever the hell I did, but that just got him more angry.

Anyhoo, there was a bit of argy bargy and the bloke got his shirt ripped off and launched across the pub.

The funniest thing was that they kicked him out and not the bloke who launched him!!!

You're not thinking about 'goat-rooter' are you? He's old, and I'm pretty sure I got him kicked out as well. Could be wrong though.

fair to say that the whole assoc. should have a bye that week. poor organisation on the HCA behalf especially considering grotty will probably be the first through the gate at adelaide.

Dutchy - some detective work, or did I give too much away at some stage?
Across the board, SA-wide, there shouldn't have been any amateur cricket this weekend.
Mylor - your lucky b#stards!

young fella from shanty wolverine. has about 8 alias' on this forum and has a tendency to talk himself up. infact if you read something on here that is saying how good he is you can bank on it being him. got potential in A Grade but so far nothing.

if i recall dunbar has made a 60 odd in A Grade at the age of 15. If dunbar was at any other club in the hills he would be playing in their A grade without a doubt

i dont think it really matters how old someone is, if theyre playing A grade then they should produce. you dont see young pistols talking himself up and in two A's games he has made 50 odd and two four fa's. im not doubting he can play just think he should stick to one alias and stand up for your postings.

i agree that if he is gonna play a's then he should produce and im pretty sure he doesnt have 8 alais on this forum. Pistols is in a class of his own he is a gun bowler and should bowl first change if not open u21's with mark sinclair from bridgewater. but really he cant bat that 50odd was nothing special against a relatively poor onkas bowling line up like honestly young sam rowe isnt An Agrade or Bgrade bowler yet, Even DA would of made a very decent score if he had those pies coming down to him. by the way where has that clown hookshot gone i think GTS scared him off.

I know you wont believe this, but pure chance saw us get the bye this week in the A/3s. Some of Geoff Cranwell's finest work!

It will be my third consecutive week without cricket though... wedding/gastro/bye...

Good thing I wasn't in form before the lay-off...

A pity our A/2s still have to play, but with 400 on the board they could just about afford to have the afternoon off.

You offering to coach at Mylor then?

We'd have junior teams if we could get people to coach...

Dont know that my batting technique is up to scratch - would there be enough juniors in mylor to get a team going. Would be a good idea, epecially if Mylor is serious about going up to A Grade in the next few years. Clubs cant go up for a few years struggle then want to drop back a grade. You need quality juniors coming thru to stay in the higher grade permantly. Look at SCIB very strong at junior level.

Wolfie Mylor have had juniors for a number of years, and very successful teams for that matter. I remember being part of Mylor teams that played in 2 Grand Finals, we went down in both. Back in those days we had a gun opening batsman by the name of Nick Cook. He was very much in the Justin Langer mould

Ducktown pistola is a much much much much better batter then he is bowler, im a good mate of his and his batting is very good, i never get him out in the nets, on the other hand he bowls pies with sauce to me in the nets, he trys so hard by getting the new ball out and everything but the fact is he cant bowl his batting is bloody awesome though.
